Elktoberfest Wine & Beer Run 5K

Love Wine or Beer?  Like Walking or Running?  This race is for you!

Join us at our 5th annual Elktoberfest Wine & Beer Run 5K on Saturday, September 19, 2026 for an exciting event that features the scenic views of Elkhart Lake, great wine from locally-owned by Vintage Elkhart Lake Wine Shop and local craft beer from 3 Sheeps Brewing! With registration options for all wine and beer lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!

Registration includes entry to the race, finisher medal, souvenir wine glass, and a pour of wine.

Please be aware that a shirt is not included in the registration fee. You are able to add a shirt during registration for an additional $5.

This is a 3.11 mile 5k run/walk.  Runners and walkers will all start together at Vintage Elkhart Lake Wine Shop and go west then take a left and head south towards the lake.  Runners will then run towards the golf course and turn right on Kettle Moraine Scenic Dr. where they will turn around an orange cone.  The runners will turn around and then turn right on Osthoff Ave and finish going towards the wine shop. We will have water and light refreshments at the finish line for all runners and walkers and of course Wine and Beer!

Packet Pickup for runners will be held on the morning of the race from 8:00-9:00 am for the 9:00 am start time.  We will provide you with a race bib and safety pins.  The race bib has a drink ticket at the bottom that you will tear off to redeem for a pour of wine or pour of craft beer.  When you turn in your tear-off drink ticket that is when you receive your souvenir wine cup.  

The packet pickup process is quick and easy.  We will have 5-15 volunteers ready to pass out your shirt and race bib.  All we need is your name and we will look you up on our Runsignup App and get you your packet.    The process goes quickly and there shouldn't be any lines. :-)

FAQ's

Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate, but they will get a free soda instead of wine.
Is walking allowed?  Yes, absolutely! Are strollers allowed? Yes
Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure your dog is on a leash. 

Is there race medals? All participants will receive a sweet finisher medal so we will not have age group awards.  There will be an LED race clock at the finish line.
