Whether you are a seasoned runner or a leisurely stroller, you can enjoy a picturesque tree-lined route featuring Lake Hartwell and Chickasaw Point Golf Course. Your friends and family can join you on the course or celebrate with the 4th of July morning festivities!
Hosted by Chickasaw Point community and open to the public this is a fun way locals and visitors in Upstate South Carolina can enjoy Independence Day together.

Kids can also showcase their skills in the Kids and Little Tikes Fun Run.

Race Day Registration:
July 4 7am-8am at Chickasaw Point entrance greens near balloon arch.
Event Schedule:
- 7:45am: Opening Prayer, National Anthem
- 8:00am: 5K Start
- 8:15am: 1-Miler Start
- 9:00am: Little Tikes (2-3 year olds), Kids Fun Run (4 year olds and up). Parents choose which is best for child.
- 10:00am: 5K Top Finisher Awards, Oldest & Youngest runner recognition
Fundraiser
All proceeds and donations will go towards covering the cost of the Firecracker 5K event and to fundraising efforts to support the amenities of Chickasaw Point. All staff associated with producing this event are volunteers from the Chickasaw Point community.

Your sponsorship provides your company with exposure to Chickasaw Point's active community of 500 homes, as well as their visiting friends and family during the festive 4th of July celebrations. Plus, the Firecracker 5K draws attendance from neighboring regions like Seneca, Lavonia, Clemson, Wahalla, and Anderson. Don't miss the chance to connect with an expanded and highly targeted audience.
Your support enables us to host Firecracker 5K and fun family activities. Dollars raised will go towards producing the event and any profits received will go towards helping to fund Chickasaw Point's amenities.
Note: Selling of products is limited to food trucks. Vendors may collect donations for goods to support the Firecracker 5K. Sponsors are responsible for bringing their own booth and items to the event. Some generators will be available, but power is primarily only available for the food truck location.

Sponsorship helps to cover costs associated with producing the Firecracker 5K and family fun activities such as a water slide, water balloons, etc. Any profits will be donated to helping support Chickasaw Point's amenities.
SCHEDULE
Race day is on Friday, July 4, 2024 with the race starting at 8am. The festival is from 9am to 11am. We expect early arrivals for race day registration and packet pickup. Please plan to arrive no later than 8:00am.
LOCATION
The Firecracker 5K will be held at the outside entrance of Chickasaw Point community. The race route will travel along Boat Ramp Road. The festival will be held at the open greens area to the left of the entrance. Food trucks will be positioned to the right off of Lilac Road. Parking will be at the South Union Baptist Church.
