About Firecracker RUN 406
Join us for Whitefish's newest race, the Firecracker RUN 406. The event is produced by the event management group that stages the Whitefish Marathon so if you have run Whitefish, or have read of the marathon's reviews, you know what kind of event to expect.
The 4.06 mile run/walk is on Saturday, July 4 starting and finishing on the west side of Depot Park by the O'Shaughnessy Center. Stick around to enjoy the Whitefish Arts Festival which opens at 10 AM. Jeremiah Johnson Brewing and Tamarack mocktails will be served in the post-race finish area.
Be festive and wear your best red, white and blue running gear. Podium and Age Group Awards presented immediately after the event.
All finishers receive the official event shirt and medal!
Friday Packet Pickup is from 3:00 - 6:00 PM inside Depot Park at the Whitefish Arts Festival tent. Look for the RUN 406 feather flags.

The official start / finish location is on the west side of Depot Park in the north parking lot of the O'Shaughnessy Center. Look for the tents and the Hammer Arch. The map below show the location:

COURSE MAP
The 4.06 mile course starts to the west on the park trails towards the beach. Then you will transition onto the roads where you will run in the drive lane. A water stop will be waiting for you at approximately 2.1 miles, just after you cross Wisconsin Ave. You will continue to run on the roads until your reach the paved trail section that will take you up and over the railroad with a sharp left hand then a right hand turn to the finish under the Hammer Nutrition tent.
