Georgia Cities Week City of Brunswick Bike Rodeo

Join us for a FREE bike rodeo after school on Wednesday, April 22nd from 4-6 PM! 

Bike Walk Golden Isles, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is partnering up with the City of Brunswick for a bike rodeo at Mary Ross Waterfront Park as part of Georgia Cities Week.

Bike rodeos teach essential bike safety and on-bike handling skills using proven strategies to increase bicyclist confidence, safety, and ability. BWGI and our partner organizations will be onsite leading this activity with trained LCIs and volunteer staff. The curriculum is designed for children and youth ages 3-12 -- All ages and skill levels are welcome! 

BWGI recommends riders bring their own bike for this event, but there will be a small bike library on site for riders to borrow one as needed on a first come, first served basis.

Helmets are required for this event.

BWGI will provide FREE bike helmets with helmet safety education to any rider who lacks this essential safety equipment thanks to funding from the GA Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).
