About Germantown Trail Races

Join the WOLF PACK for a trail 1/2 Marathon, 6 Hours of Power, 10K, 5K & 20K Relay in Germantown MetroPark. Discover the largest areas of old-growth forest within Montgomery County, creating some of the best habitats for wildlife. From tall trees to water-carved ravines, colorful prairies and meadows to the scenic Twin Creek corridor, this park traverses some of the region’s most beautiful landscapes.

Schedule

October 25 & 26

9:15-9:45AM: All races check in. You will receive your bib and your race sticker.

9:45AM: Pre-race meeting. The Race Director will go over course markings and other important information.

10:00AM: All races start.

2:00PM: Finish line closes (Octobeber 26).

4:00PM: Finish line closes (October 25).

Insider Tips

  1. The course will be marked with color coded flags, cones, and arrows. You will have to PAY ATTENTION to stay on course. Don't just follow the person in front of you!
  2. There is one water station along the 1/2 Marathon & 10K route. If you are running the 6 Hours of Power or the 1/2 Marathon you will have aid station support at the Start/Finish line before you start your next loop.
  3. This is a trail and mixed terrain event. Be sure to include similar terrain on your training runs!

  • 1 point for finishing an event (no time limit)
  • 2 additional points for...
    • 5K under 25 minutes
    • 10K under 55 minutes
    • 1/2M under 115 minutes
    • Duathlon under 105 minutes
    • Complete more than 5 loops in a 6 Hours of Power event
    • Successfully complete an Ohio 5x5 Challenge
