Give Life NY 5K Run/Walk

The 3rd Annual Give Life NY 5K Run/Walk is to raise awareness for organ donation. The Co-directors of the event, Mindy Davidson and Bob Goldfarb are runners and non-directed living donors.

This year’s event is in memory of Tracy Kreutzer and Blayr 

This event is open to everyone. We welcome your participation. You do not need to be a donor or a recipient to participate. 

Field House at Eisenhower Park- Accessible from Parking Field 2 or Parking Field 1

PLEASE NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN EISENHOWER PARK

SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY RATE!  Registration - Through June 30! Individual Entry for in-person event -  ONLY $30 (plus $2.80 transaction fee)!!

Early Registration -April 1- June 30- Individual Entry for in-person event- $32.80

Registration- July 1-August 31 - Individual for the in-person event- $38.10

Late Registration -August 31-Oct 17- Individual Entry for in-person event-  $43.40

Day of Race Registration- October 18- Individual Entry for in-person event- $48.70

1/4 M KIDS FREE FUN RUN (Open to all children 12 and under)
Although free, we ask that you register so that we have enough medals  

VIRTUAL RACE:
Entry fee for virtual race is $43.40

All registered Virtual Participants will receive a long- sleeved shirt and participant medal in the mail after October 18. (There are no awards for the virtual event)

Please pick up your bib ahead of time if you are at all able to do so.
Bib pickup will be available:

Friday, October 16  from 12 PM to 4:00 PM at Sayville Running Company, 19 Main Street, Sayville
Saturday, October 17 from 12 PM to 4:00 PM at Runner's Edge, Farmingdale 242 Main St. Farmingdale, NY 11735
Sunday, October 18 from 7:15-8:15 AM at race check-in at the Fieldhouse at Eisenhower Park
You are allowed to pick-up bibs for your registered family and friends.

Net proceeds from the event will be donated to IRS-designated 501(c)(3) organ donation awareness organizations. 

All participants will receive a finisher's medal!

Awards will be given out in the following categories:

1st Place Overall Male and Female

1st Place Master's Male and 1st Place Master's Female

1st Place Male and Female LIVING Organ Donor (someone who has donated an organ)

1st Place Male and Female Organ Recipient

Top Individual Fundraiser

Top Team Fundraiser

Awards will be given to the top three finishers starting at ages 10 and under, and then 5-year age groups up to 90+ and 1st place wheelchair athlete

Every 5K registrant of the in-person event will receive a long sleeve shirt, participant medal and post-race refreshments.

All in-person 5K registrants are eligible to win from a selection of door prizes generously donated by community businesses - You must be present at the Door Prize drawing to win. 

All Virtual Race entrants will receive a long sleeve shirt and participant medal.

ALL kids 12 and under are invited to participate in the FREE Kids 1/4 mile fun run!

All children will receive a finisher's medal!

START TIME: 8a.m.

Timing will be provided by SCR Timing Services

Results will be available on RunSIgnUp and at srctimingservices.rsupartner.com 

A virtual race can be run anywhere as long as it's done during the prescribed time period.
