Courses: The 5K, Youth Mile, and Junior Dash courses are flat, fast road races. The 5K and Youth Mile courses are USATF certified, which means they are precisely measured.
Giveaways: All 5K and Youth Mile participants receive a tri-blend t-shirt.
Entertainment: Oak Park and River Forest High School drumline, Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School band, and Jesse White Tumblers.

Awards
5K:
- Top 3 female, male, and non-binary overall winners.
- Top 3 female and male age group winners.
- Top 3 female and male Clydesdale/Athena weight group winners.
- We use the CARA age groups.
- No double dipping; each runner is only eligible for one award.
- 5K award distribution will start at 9:30 am.
Youth Mile:
- Top 3 female, male, and non-binary overall winners.
- Top 3 female and male age group winners.
- The age groups are: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12.
- Youth Mile award distribution will start at 8:45 am.
Junior Dash:
- The Junior Dash is not timed and does not have awards.
All:
- If a participant doesn't pick up their award on race day, they can pick it up for 2 weeks after the race at Fleet Feet Oak Park.
- Participants who select their gender as “prefer not to say” are not eligible for male, female, or non-binary awards.

Gear Check
Gear check is open 7:00 am to 10:30 am on race day.
Packet Pick Up
Friday, April 24 at Fleet Feet Oak Park from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Saturday, April 25 at Fleet Feet Oak Park from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Sunday, April 26 at Oak Park and River Forest High School from 7:00 AM to 9:45 AM.
You can pick up packets for friends or family. You are also welcome to change your t-shirt size at packet pick-up.
Parking and Transportation
Free parking in the Oak Park and River Forest High School garage and the Avenue garage.
Walking distance to Metra Union Pacific West (Oak Park), CTA Green Line (Ridgeland), and Pace Bus Lake St (Route 309).
Bike racks at Oak Park and River Forest High School.
Policies
- No refunds, deferrals, or transfers, including if we need to postpone or cancel the event.
- The races will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the event will be postponed or cancelled.
- No strollers due to RRCA and CARA guidelines.
- No animals, other than service animals.
- No bicycles, skateboards, or roller skates.
- We do not guarantee t-shirt sizes, and we do not mail t-shirts, bibs, or awards.
- No race day registration.
- All first aid and medical support is provided by the Oak Park Fire Department, and accessible by dialing 911.
