About Granite Falls Independence Day 5K Fun Run
2026 marks the 1st annual official City of Granite Falls hosted 5k run.
We are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America. The run will highlight the history of Granite Falls.
Once runners have completed the course, there is an awards ceremony with several raffle awards. Participants, family and friends can then enjoy festive activities that are held all around the main street including food, music, vendor booths, activities and more.
The GFPD Outreach and Support a registered non-profit 501(c) is the organizer and all proceeds will go to supporting our local police department.

Regular Registration: May 1, 2026 to June 15, 2026, 11:58 pm

Pick up race packets on July 4th at 8:00am to 9:00 am in front of the Granite Falls Civic Center.

Awards
Awards are given to the overall male and female winner for adults, and teens category crossing the finish line. Award winners will not be eligible for multiple awards. Awards will also be given to most festive dressed.
