About Granite Falls Independence Day 5K Fun Run
2026 marks the 1st annual official City of Granite Falls hosted 5k run.
We are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America. The run will highlight the history of Granite Falls.
Once runners have completed the course, there will be medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Participants, family and friends can then enjoy festive activities that are held all around the main street including food, music, vendor booths, activities and more.
The GFPD Outreach and Support a registered non-profit 501(c) is the organizer and all proceeds will go to supporting our local police department.

Early Registration: March 15, 2026 to April 30, 2026, 11:59 pm
5K Run: Adults 18 and over - $10.00
Teens 13 - 17 years of age - $5.00
Kids 12 & Under - $0.00 Must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Regular Registration: May 1, 2026 to May 31st, 2026, 11:59 pm
5K Run: Adults 18 and over - $15.00

Awards
Awards are given to the overall male and female winner for adults, and teens category crossing the finish line. Award winners will not be eligible for multiple awards. Awards will also be given to most festive dressed.
