About Head Over Teal 5K & 10K
Laura Crandall Brown Foundation's Head Over Teal 5K & 10K taking place during GYN Cancer Awareness Month!
The proceeds from the race benefit the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation. This annual event helps us provide GYN cancer programs to women, patients, and caregivers throughout the year. LCBF focuses on early detection research, awareness education, and support services for GYN cancer patients and families. Since our founding in 2009, we have granted more than $800,000 for ovarian cancer early detection research, educated tens of thousands of community members on GYN cancer prevention info, signs and symptoms, and provided emotional, educational, and direct financial support to thousands of GYN cancer patients and their loved ones.

This year, there will be NO CHARGE to participate in Head Over Teal if you are a GYN Cancer Survivor.

If you use the Survivor Coupon Code, you will receive an exclusive t-shirt with "Survivor" on the shirt. Please note, this option is only for GYN Cancer Survivors. *Race Morning: There is limited street parking in The Preserve. We have generously had shuttles and drivers donated for our race. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Preserve Parkway. Shuttles will begin at 6:30 a.m. and will run every 10-15 minutes. Please make sure to allow yourself enough time to catch the shuttles to the race site race morning!

Race Day Info
Shuttles will run from Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Preserve Parkway, starting at 6:30 am.
5K and 10K Races will Start at 8 am.
Runners are responsible for knowing the course and staying on course.
Join us after the race for the fall-themed family fun activities and food and beverages.
*We are collecting names and color photos to add to the 2026 Memorial Garden. If you have a loved one to add to the Memorial Garden, please email igoddard@thinkoflaura.org*
Pets at the Race:
Pets are welcome to participate. All pets must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pet. The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.
Strollers at the Race:
We allow strollers at the event. If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times. For the child's safety, we ask that the child stays in the stroller until crossing the finish line.
***There are NO refunds of registration fees. This event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation.
