The Race:
The Heady Trotter is a 4 Mile race through the heart of Stowe, starting and finishing on the lawn of the famed Alchemist Brewery. Chip timed, certified course. Cold Alchemist beer, live music and food trucks await you at the finish. #IRunForHeady

The Charity :
Help us raise money for  our awesome charity partner,  The Green Mountain Adaptive Sports.  Whose Mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities living in or visiting Vermont by sponsoring participation in adaptive sports and recreational programs. We work cooperatively with our partner organizations to enhance their ability to deliver a quality experience to persons with disabilities. Special perks available to donors.

Starting Line: 

Runners will start in waves, Corral will be assigned based on self identified estimated finish times (during registration you will be asked you estimated finish time). Waves begin at 10am, all waves begin within 3 minutes. 

All runners park at an off site location, and arrive by bus, there is no onsite parking on race day.

Early bib pickup & parking

Friday from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Alchemist Brewery.
Saturday from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at the Alchemist Brewery.

The parking lot at the brewery only has about 100 spaces, we will also be utilizing the lot for the brewery and the Stowe Medical Center 1878 Mountain Rd (300 yard walk through the field)-  look for the banners. To avoid frustration we request that you carpool. Additionally, we will have parking attendants to ensure a safe and orderly parking lot. You will be able to pick up all of your race swag, bibs, sweatshirts, hats, etc. and buy beer in the retail store.

​RACE DAY BIB PICKUP & parking

8:00 - 9:00 am at the brewery with a 10:00 am race time
There is no race day parking at the brewery. Parking is provided at Topnotch Field 3420 Mountain Rd, Stowe, VT 05672 there will be a shuttle bus providing transport to the brewery. 

All Race Day parking is located at 3420 Mountain Road Stowe, Vermont - Topnotch Lower Meadow Field - Directly next to the Pinnacle Snow Sports, and runs along side the Stowe Rec Trail. You can use the trail to get to the start finish, but DO NOT WALK Mountain Road. 

We will be operating Big Yellow Shuttle buses on race day until 9:30a and immediately after the race until 2pm
After the race, catch your return trip from the Stowe Medical Center 1878 Mountain Rd - where you got dropped off, across the meadow from the Brewery
