HEMOPHILIA ASSOCIATION OF NEW JERSEY PRESENTS THE HEMOPHILIA 5K RUN/1 MILE WALK

Join fellow walkers, runners, and volunteers as we raise awareness about hemophilia and fund our mission which provides hope and much needed assistance to the hemophilia community. The funds raised with this event will continue to support these very important initiatives:

• Emergency Financial Assistance
• Insurance Assistance
• Educational Programming
• Counseling Referrals
• Medic Alert Identifications
• Member Advocacy
• Scholarships
• And SO MUCH MORE!

There are two options for how you can participate in the Hemophilia 5k/1 Mile walk:

1. If you would like to participate in the run and be a part of a team to fundraise, you would sign up for the race itself here and in the sign up process, it will let you join a particular organization fundraiser team or create one yourself: https://runsignup.com/Race/Register/?raceId=85403.

• 8:00 am Registration Opens
• 9:00 am 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk Start 
• 11:00 am Awards Ceremony
• 11:30 am Lunch and Family Fun Time 

• Overall 1st place 5k - Male & Female 
• Overall 2nd place 5k - Male & Female 
• Overall 3rd place 5k - Male & Female 

Age categories

• Top 3 5k finishers, male & female in various age categories.

Additional

• Top fundraising team will be awarded a Family Four Pack season passes to Six Flags Great Adventure.
• Top fundraising individual will be awarded a $100 Target gift card (Top fundraising individual may not be associated with a team and must raise $250 or more)
   
  

  T-Shirts are guaranteed to runners and walkers that register by August 16th.

• Runners will receive Dri-tech T-Shirts 

• Walkers will receive Dri-T-Shirts                                                                                                                                                                                      

• All runners and walkers will receive a medal at the end of the race! 🏅

We use Chronotrack RFID systems for chip timing. All awards will be calculated based on chip time, not gun time.

Above all, get out and have a great time while supporting HANJ and personal fitness! Your registration, team recruitment, and fundraising efforts WILL make a difference for the bleeding disorders community in New Jersey. 

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be available at Road Runner Sports, 501 Shoppes Blvd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902 on Saturday September 20th from 11am to 2:00pm.

If unable to pick-up Saturday, September 20th the packet pick-ups will be available the day of the Run/Walk at East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816

The 5k is a flat and fast paved route. The course is USATF certified (#NJ16023LMB) Traffic is not permitted on the course during the race.
