Hendricks County Rib Run

Join us at the 12th Annual Rib Run taking place on June 27th at 9:00 AM! That's right kick off the days festivities at this family friendly 5k Run/Walk and the Kids Riblet Run. Athletes will enjoy a very fast 5k race in the cooler morning temps, and get decked out in all the great SWAG Rib Runners had come to love. All participants will get the Comfy Rib Run Tee, and an EPIC Rib Run Finisher Item! Circle back to the surrounding parking lots Saturday night for the annual firework show! The Hendricks County Rib Run is the perfect kick off to your 4th of July celebrations!

• Event Management Team will follow all local guidelines from the Hendricks County Health Department and the CDC.
• Hand Sanitizer available throughout the event venue
• Social Distancing required throughout event
• COVID-19 Self Screen required by Participants (see Self Screen tab on Website)
• Masks required at all times except when running/walking on the course
• Longer start time allowing for maximum social distancing
• Separate Start/Finish Lines when necessary based on start time length, and course needs
• No award ceremonies
• Prepackaged refuel items only
• No aid stations on course
• These adjustments can adjust and change as COVID-19 requirements and recommendations will continue change. Please check back regularly, and especially as the event nears.

• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

• Muscle or Body Aches

• Recent loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat

• Within the past 14 days, have you had contact with anyone that you know that had COVID-19 or COVID-19 like symptoms?
• Have you had a positive COVID-19 test for active virus in the past 10 days?
• Within the past 14 days, has a public health or medical professional told you to self-monitor, self-isolate, or self quarantine because of concerns about COVID-19 infection?
• Are you ill or is someone you are caring for ill? 

If you have one or more symptoms listed above, or answered yes to any of the above questions please stay home, and take care of yourself. You can reach out to us to arrange packet shipping or to set up picking up your packet at a later date. Thanks for doing your part to keep us all safe!

• 8:50 AM - Pre-Race Instructions/National Anthem
• 9:00 AM - 5k Start
• 9:15 AM - Post Race Water/Granola Bars/Inflatables
• 10:00 AM - Riblet Kids Run (children's quarter mile race)
• 10:15 AM - Awards (Overall Male & Female, and Age Group Champs - U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59. 60+)
• 10:30 AM - Inflatables Closed

We would love to have you participate in our 11th Annual Rib Run event, even if you may be traveling. Those who choose to race virtually will have the freedom to sleep-in and run wherever they choose from June 28th - July 7th, 2025. Hit the trails in the afternoon or a treadmill while watching Netflix. Your call!

Results Submission:

Packet Pickup/Shipping:

Virtual participants will have the option to attend the same packet pickup as the live event participants or pay to have their SWAG Shipped shipping.
