Heroes for Hope 5K

Hosted by The CALL in Sharp and Independence Counties and the Sharp County Sheriff Foundation

Heroes for Hope is a fun, family-friendly event that brings our community together in support of:

· Children in foster care,

· Local law enforcement’s public service missions,

· Families in need across Sharp County

Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite heroes, creating an energetic and inspiring atmosphere. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk, a free kids’ fun, and a virtual runner option for those who want to support without racing.

The race will begin at 9 AM. 
The race starts and finishes in the Cave City Park.  

Free Kids Fun Run following 5K start (approximately 9:10 AM)

Packet Pick Up: 
Race day packet pickup will be at Cave City Park starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 10. 

Cost:  $30
Race day registration will be available from 8:00-8:30 AM. 

Parking:
Available on the grassy lot across from the Cave City Park. 

Adverse Weather Policy:
We expect our events to happen rain or shine. No one, including the Race Director, wants to make changes to an event on race day. However, the safety of our participants is of paramount concern. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the Race Director, in communication with the local law enforcement and the city, may delay the event, cancel the event, or make changes to the race course.
Adverse Weather Definition:
The event may be delayed or canceled due to Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, Thunderstorm, Heavy Rain, or any other extreme weather condition. Light to moderate rain is not considered an Adverse Weather Condition.

Cancellation Policy: 
If the 10/10/25 race is canceled, all entries will be deferred to the following year. Sorry, no refunds.
