Hills & Valleys 2026

Thank you for taking the time to be part of the Hills & Valleys Race and its mission.

At the heart of this event is a simple but powerful truth: life is filled with both mountaintop moments and deep valleys. There are seasons when the path feels light and joyful—and others when the road is steep, uncertain, and heavy to walk. This race was created as a reminder that no one has to journey through those valleys alone.

Each year, our hope is that this event becomes more than a race—that it becomes a moment where our community gathers in compassion, generosity, and faith to lift up someone walking through a difficult season.

Race Details:

Come join us for an exciting, challenging and unique 4.45 mile run/walk through both road and trail. Where you'll conquer steep climbs, rugged descents and winding trails through valleys and forests. Along the way, obstacles will test your endurance, you will climb, crawl and work up a sweat! This race is the perfect chance to test your endurance and enjoy the great outdoors. This race is more than just a challenge—it's a celebration of health, strength, and perseverance.

**Register before April 20 to get your race day shirt! Registration will continue to be open after April 20 but you will not receive a shirt. 

Benefiting Jeremy Bouwman and Family:

This year's proceeds will be going directly to Jeremy Bouwman and his family. Here is their story:

In January 2025, Jeremy was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition, Autoimmune Cerebellar Ataxia. After months of hospital stays, doctors have found no clear cause or cure, and he now relies on a wheelchair while facing ongoing challenges with balance, vision and speech. Before this, Jeremy loved hunting, hiking, running and summitting Mt Baker each year with family by his side. This journey has brought many hills and valleys for this sweet family as they pursue treatments not covered by insurance.

By signing up for the Hills & Valleys race, you're helping Jeremy keep moving forward and pursing the help and treatment he needs to keep moving forward. Join us in lifting Jeremy and his family up through prayer, community, and support.

Special Notes:

Racers must be 16+.

Walkers are welcome, however trail runs are not stroller friendly.
