Join fellow Rams and CSU friends for the 46th annual Homecoming 5K! The race is a great way for community, alumni, and students to come together for fun, fitness, and a sense of Ram Pride. All ages and abilities welcome. We also welcome virtual racers joining us from around the globe.

Join us for a Homecoming tradition that’s been running strong since 1980—the CSU Homecoming 5k! Whether you lace up in Fort Collins or log your miles from afar, this year’s event is all about celebrating YOU: our incredible alumni.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the Homecoming 5k—and we’re honoring the legacy of Ram runners past and present by inviting alumni from every graduation year since 1980 to represent their class.
Run, walk, cheer, or donate—your participation supports CSU traditions, student programs, and community wellness. Show your Ram pride, reconnect with old classmates, and inspire the next generation.

🐏 Represent Your Graduation Year: We’re aiming to have at least one alum from every class of 1980–2025 take part. Are you in?
Virtual 5k Challenge: Can’t make it to Fort Collins? No problem. Run or walk the 5k from anywhere—your neighborhood, local park, or treadmill. Help us reach our goal of one alumni participant from all 50 states!

Kids Race
Kids Fun Run! FOR OUR YOUNGEST RAMS!
9:00 am
Join us for the Kids Fun Run starting at 9 a.m. on the Oval! Cam the Ram will welcome the young runners and start the Kids Fun Run. Children will run one full lap around the Oval and earn a Homecoming ribbon as they pass through the finish line. Come help us cheer on our young runners after you have completed the race!

During the Homecoming Festival on the Oval - Colorado State University, The Oval
Enjoy live music, children’s activities, food trucks, and a beer garden. This year’s Festival also features the opportunity to engage with areas across campus, as well as local vendors and businesses, as you browse their booths around the Oval. The event is free and open to the public. Food and beer available for purchase.
RACE DAY, Saturday, October 18th: 6:30 - 7:45 am
Packets will be available for pickup at Race Central starting at 6:30 a.m. on race day. Race Central will be located on Isotope Drive on the southwest side of the Oval. Packet pickup will close at 7:45 a.m. prior to the race and any leftover packets will be able to be collected after the race finish.

Parking
The race occurs on the same day as the CSU Homecoming football game, so there are a few important notes regarding parking outlined below:
- Beginning at 10 a.m. Colorado State University will start enforcing game day parking, meaning all vehicles parked on campus lots without a game day pass at this time will be towed and/or ticketed.
- We recommend coming to the CSU campus for the 5K via public transportation, such as the MAX, rideshare programs, or biking/walking.
- ON-CAMPUS PARKING - Lots #305, #310, & #315 See map below.
Cars must vacate parking lot by 10:00 am or will be subject to ticketing per game day parking rules. - Neighborhoods to the north of Laurel St. and east of College Ave. also allow for two-hour street parking once daily. Park on any of these neighborhood streets and it's a nice warm-up walk/jog over to the Oval for the race.
- Please follow all guidelines and signage when parking on or near campus, or consider public and shared rider transportation in alliance with the sustainable vision of Colorado State University.
THIS IS A GREEN EVENT - PLEASE CARPOOL or RIDE YOUR BIKE! There are plenty of bike racks onsite near the start/finish.
