✬ The mission of this event is to HONOR our nation's fallen heroes. HEAL the unseen wounds of war for both our surviving families and veterans. CONNECT surviving family members and veterans with the civilian community.  

✬ Due to the generosity of our presenting sponsor, The Grove, and our other partners/sponsors, 100% of your registration fee is a direct donation to Memories of Honor.

Everyone registered for and completing the 5K + GORUCK will receive a finisher's medal. 
We have expanded our awards this year. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd Place Male & Female finishers in each division listed below. The wheeled division will be 1st & 2nd regardless of age or gender.  Please note that awards will NOT be mailed; you must pick them up during the ceremony. The RUCK division is noncompetitive.

FALLEN HERO SUBMISSION

Unlike our other events, the HTF5K Memorial Mile on this course is limited to those from the state of TN or those who served at Ft Campbell. There is no date on loss; the passing can be from all conflicts and wars. If you do not fall into one of those two categories, you can still have your loved one added to our national database. 

We are sorry, but the deadline to add a hero to our course with a sign and memorial bibs has passed. 

IF YOUR LOVED ONE HAS BEEN HONORED ON OUR COURSE IN THE PAST, YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER THEM AGAIN.

FAQ

PACKET PICKUP:

  • Early Packet Pickup Friday 4:00-6:30 PM (parking through the main gate at The Grove) 6200 Wildings Blvd. 
  • Morning Packet Pickup Saturday 7:00 AM (parking is through the north gate) 5218 Wildings Blvd. 

 

AFTER-PARTY: 

  • Is open for everyone to attend. 
  • You will get a wristband with your race packet that gets you a lunch plate. 
  • Anyone with you that's registered only for the Memorial Mile or not participating can purchase food. 
  • Cards only - no cash. 

 

RESTROOMS:

  • The restrooms are located inside the Sports Center. It's the building next-door to packet pickup. Yeah! for indoor restrooms! 
  • There will also be ladies-only restrooms inside the General Store. Please use the back door, which is located near packet pickup. 

 

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. Will the course be the same as in past years. A. Yes, we have the same amazing course. 

Q. I can't run the entire 5K. Can I walk or do walk intervals? A. Yes! You are absolutely welcome to walk, run, jog, shuffle, and move your way to the finish line. It's your race, your pace. 

Q. Are strollers welcome? A. Yes. But please start towards the back allowing competitive runners to be closer to the starting line.

Q. Are dogs welcome? A. YES! We are a pet-friendly run, and we love our puppies. We only ask that you carry doggie bags with you and clean up after your pet.   We will also have water bowls at the start/finish and a water station. 

 

Q. How do I register for the event? A. Just click the signup link for the event you’d like to participate in. 

Q. Can kids participate? A. Absolutely! There is no age limit for any of our events. 

Q. What is rucking & GORUCK?  A. RUCKING - Moving with weight on your back is the foundation of Special Forces training - and GORUCK Events. Rucking combines strength and cardio, is adaptable to anyone’s goals based on the amount of weight carried, and is a popular, empowering activity for those who hate to run or find it boring. GO•RUCK [VERB GO + VERB RUCK] NOUN Ruck is short for rucksack (aka backpack), it’s also a verb: to ruck is to move with a rucksack and implies action, energy, and purpose. RUCKING IS A NONCOMPETITIVE DIVISION.

Your company can choose from a wide range of options. 

  • Decide on how much of each participants entry fee they will cover (if any) up to 100% 
  • Set a max number of participants per team
  • Set if the team is for employees only or if their families can join. 
  • Payments can be made by credit card or by check.

HOW TO START A TEAM? 

  1. Come up with an awesome team name
  2. Choose a race, create a Team during registration
  3. Encourage your friends, club members, or coworkers to join.
  4. Put in your miles at your own pace. Teams DO NOT have to start and finish together. 

 

HOW TO JOIN AN EXISTING GROUP/TEAM DURING REGISTRATION. 

  1. Navigate to the Race Page of the race
  2. Click Sign Up to begin the registration process
  3. Enter in all participant information
  4. Select your event
  5. Answer "Yes" for the question "Would you like to join a Team?"
  6. Click Continue
  7. Select the group/team you would like to join from the drop-down menu
  8. If a password is required, enter the password your Group Administrator set. **Remember passwords are case sensitive.**

    1. The company can opt to pay $0 of the team member's entry fee
    2. A percentage of the team member's entry fee.

What is Rucking?

RUCK-ING [VERB]

Carrying a weighted pack on your back. It implies action, energy, and purpose.  You may do your ruck in boots or the footwear of your choice. When in doubt, beginners should start with < 20 lbs. Move as fast as you can or as slow as you want. You control the weight and the distance so you control the level of difficulty. For this event your pack can be as large or as small as you like, you may also wear a weighted vest if you don't have a pack. We suggest that participants carry at least10-pounds of weight for this event.

GETTING HERE USING GPS*. 

  1. Type in 6463 Eudailey-Covington Rd, College Grove, TN.
  2. Once on Eudailey, you will turn into The Grove at Wildings Blvd. See Map Below. 
  3. Follow parking signs and parking volunteers.
  4. Shuttles will be running you up to the check-in area. 
  5. VIP parking is located at the main entrance. 

*Unless you have a VIP parking pass, Do NOT go to the main entrance of The Grove. Cars are not allowed in this area during the event. 

 

FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND

  • Packet pickup is located between the General Store & The Sports Center. 
  • The staging area for the ceremonies & the race start is located at the north gate in front of the sales office. 
  • There are three in-door bathroom locations; each marked on the map. 
  • The afterparty is located in the lawn area behind the sports center located between the tennis courts and the pool.

Everything below is from previous events. 

  • The main entrance of The Grove is closed to all race traffic except those with a VIP parking pass.
  • We will have a Williamson Co. Sharif stationed at the entrance checking passes. 
  • You should expect some light residence vehicle traffic traveling to the clubhouse. 
  • For your safety, we have set up a pattern for car and pedestrian traffic.  

READING THE MAP

  • The south side of the roundabout will be marked off for two-way vehicle traffic. 
  • The northside will be closed for foot traffic. 
  • There is a designated crossing path marked on the map.
