Honoring the Fallen 5K

                                                                                          Fifth Annual Clermont Honoring the Fallen 5K
Join the Clermont Police Department for the Fifth Annual Clermont Honoring the Fallen 5K, taking place in the heart of beautiful Downtown Clermont.

Formerly known as the Conrad Buckley Legacy Scholarship 5K, this year’s event honors the nearly 80 law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty in 2025.

All proceeds and donations benefit Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and the Code 4 Initiative, both of which provide critical support to officers and their families in times of need.

 
Race Details
Date: Saturday, February 21, 2026
Location: Starts and finishes at Suncreek Brewery, Downtown Clermont
Course: Scenic out-and-back along the South Lake trail (1.5 miles each way)
Aid Station: Mid-course (participants will pass twice for hydration)

Packet Pickup:

Dash Sports in Downtown at 741 W Montrose Street. There is parking available in the back via the alley on 8th between Montrose and Desoto.

Thursday, February 19 & Friday, February 20
2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Race Day Pickup at Suncreek Brewery: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Please note: Race packets not picked up before the event will not be held. Post-race swag requests cannot be accommodated.
5:30 p.m. – Pre-Race Ceremony
6:00 p.m. – Race Start
7:00 p.m. – Awards Ceremony

The first 3 registrants pay full price; once the 4th joins, the discount automatically applies, and refunds are issued for the first three.

Awards will be presented around 7:00 p.m. for the following categories:

Overall: Top Male & Female
Masters: Top Male & Female
Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female in 5-year increments (9 & under through 75+)
Results will also be posted online after the race.

Course Rules
No dogs allowed on the course, start, or finish areas.

Service animals are permitted with prior notice.
Strollers are welcome — please start toward the back of the pack for safety.

We’re offering an opportunity to sponsor state flags this year! These flags, displayed on the trail, will commemorate the number of service members who have fallen in the line of duty from each state.
