NJ Running Block Party at CAPE MAY BREWING in Cape May, NJ! Choose your challenge of either a 5K or 1 Mile run/walk. Run through the beautiful and historic Cape May Airport. Complete with morning fuel stations, fully marked routes, and refreshments along the way. When Does the Virtual Event Start/End?  This a rolling start virtual event. Run/Walk your race anywhere, anytime. Submit your results and build the largest team to compete against others! We will conclude the event on December 31, 2020. You have until then to complete your selected Run/Walk Distance! 

Can I Walk?  YES!  This is a challenge for all levels, fitness and abilities.  Run, Walk, Jog, TROT - whatever you choose! 

Can I Complete the Distance over Multiple Days?  YES!  If you want to break it up over multiple workouts throughout the day, or multiple days, just keep track of your time and enter your total time.

How Does the Run Work?   To complete this challenge, you will record the TIME it took to complete your selected race (distance).  For example, if you're running the Malty Mile, record the time it took to run 1 mile. Track your distance and time on your preferred hardware/software. Report results to our national leader board. Challenge yourself to conquer the distance! Compete for top prizes by scoring the best time!

When Will My SWAG Package Ship?   Our volunteers are working hard to ship these out as soon as possible and get these packages to you! Due to custom ordering of merchandise and slight supply delays (coronavirus related), packages will begin shipping in mid November. We are sourcing screen printed t-shirts and custom medal production from local suppliers. Shipments will go out chronologically in the order we received your registration. We appreciate your support and patience during this time.

How Do I Redeem the Tokens for Beers?
     1. Don't forget to make a reservation at the brewery.
     2. Take your (2) beer tokens with you.
     3. Present your tokens to your server when ordering so they know you'll be redeeming them before your check comes.
     4. Tip Your Server :)

How Do I Refer Friends?  When you complete your checkout you'll receive a unique URL link.  Send that to your friends and ask them to register using that link (you'll also get a copy in your confirmation email).  They will be automatically credited as your referrals and you'll receive $10 cash back for every 3 referrals!

How Do the Shirts Fit?   Get our SPECIAL EDITION event T-shirt at checkout! This screen-printed t-shirts is made from high-quality 100% cotton. They are soft, breathable, and snag-resistant. They fit true to size and are pre-shrunk.

How Much of the Registration Fee is Donated to Feeding America?  A minimum of 20% of the registration proceeds plus 100% of online donations go directly to Feeding America!  The total amount donated depends on the number of participants since quantity of enrollment impacts the costs of the race swag and administrative costs, but we look forward to publishing the total amounts donated at the end of the event!  

When does the Beer Token Redemption Period Expire?   Beer tokens redemption will expire on March 31, 2020. 

Who is Hosting the Event? This event is hosted by BIKES & BEERS, an event organization founded in 2013 on the idea that cyclists enjoy challenging themselves and having fun! Beers on us afterwards! We host cycling events at over 25 Craft Breweries Nationwide. Every event donates a sizable portion of proceeds to local cycling advocacy groups. Our goal is to produce amazing live and virtual events that promote healthy activity, positive social involvement, and charitable contribution. What is your Refund Policy?  Due to many of the SWAG items being custom ordered, refunds are not allowed for this race. Please note this is a virtual running event. Your race SWAG will be shipped to your door!
