Hungry Mother Trail Run & Hike

Hungry Mother State Park is a gorgeous destination with an awesome trail system. Lots of camping, lodging, and activities for the whole family. 

We will have multiple options from a moderate hike to a challenging 15 ish mile one lap mountain race!

Plan to make a day or a whole vacation out of this event. Awards, refreshments, live music, and games to follow so bring a chair and cheer on the other participants!

Always comfortable and locally printed. Last day to order a shirt is July 9th 

All finishers who sign up in time will receive a custom wood medal!

Top 3 overall and 1st in each age group (male and female) will receive a custom award!

Beautiful views of the lake along this rolling out and back course. Would make for a great introduction to mountain running with 800 feet of elevation GAIN.

Aid at 4 Mile turn around and start/finish. Portable toilet by the boat ramp parking lot near miles 3 and 5.

This one lap course has plenty of views, climbing, and downhill. With over 2000 feet of elevation GAIN and smooooth descents, I'm excited just thinking about it! 

Aid around miles 4, 10, and Start/Finish. Restrooms around miles 5 and 10.

We have limited spots in the group camping area. Send us a message if you are interested in one. $10 per night per person and it covers your parking and swimming fees.

If you are not already camping in the park, you will have to pay a $7 parking fee at the gate. I recommend bringing exact cash to prevent delays.

The start finish area will be at the picnic shelters right before Creekside Campground. This is next to parking lot 6 which will be our main parking area.

Check in/sign up(cash only) will be from 7:00 to 7:45.
