Hustle S'more for Lions Camp

Event Information

Our annual event will be held on August 8, 2026. This event is for runners, walkers, and bikers of all skill levels.  Proceeds raised at this event will help support the Wisconsin Lions Camp, which provides a free camping experience to Wisconsin youth and adults with disabilities.

Schedule of Events

• 8:00 am -Snacks and refreshments available for participants in the Dining Hall
• 8:00 am - Registration and check-in starts outside of the Dining Hall
• 9:00 am - 15 mile Bike Race will start
• 9:30 am - 10K will start
• 9:45 am - 5K will start
• 10:00 am - 1 mile Donut Dash will start
• Awards Ceremony will start after all races have finished (approximately 11am)

The 10k race consists of running the 5k loop twice.

The below map was the bike course in 2024. The bike course is subject to change up until the day of the event.

1.      What are some fundraising tips?

• Create a Custom Fundraiser URL – This link can be used in emails and social media posts to bring people directly to your fundraising site for donations.
• Make it personal and let donors know why the Wisconsin Lions Camp is so important.
• Set a goal to track your progress and let donors know how much more you need to raise.
• Start with family and friends so they know that you are raising money for the Wisconsin Lions Camp and ask them to support you.
• Focus on the “why” – Providing a free camp experience for Wisconsin youth and adults with disabilities.
• Share via email, social media, or personal conversations.
• Employer Match – Check if your employer will match the amount of funds that you raise.

2.    Who should fundraising checks be made out to?

• Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Inc. (WLF)
• In the comments section of the check, write Hustle S’more and your name as the fundraiser.

3.    I created a personal fundraising page on the race website but have potential donors who don’t want to donate online. What do I do?

• Use our donation sheet to collect donations and bring it with you when you check in on the event day.
• If you are not attending the event, make sure to mail in the donations you collected with a copy of the donation sheet and allow enough mailing time for it to arrive by August 7, 2026.
• On event day we will add your donation sheet totals to your online donation totals.

4.    Is the Wisconsin Lions Foundation a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization?

• Yes. Donations may be tax deductible. When collecting donations, if donors wish to receive a receipt they must provide their mailing address.  

5.    People have pledged their support for a donation but have not actually given me payment yet. Does it count towards my fundraising totals?

• No. We will only count donations in hand at check in on the day of the event.

6.    Where do I mail my donation sheet and donations if I am unable to attend in person?

As a thank you for fundraising, there will be drawings for prizes at the event on August 8, 2026. You do not need to be present to win these prizes.

By fundraising to the amount of money shown at each level below, you will be entered into a drawing to win various prizes:

• $125 – Beach/Camping/Picnic Sand Free Blanket
• $250 – JBL FLIP5 Waterproof Portable Speaker
• $500 – SHOKZ OpenRun Pro-Bone Conduction Headphones
• $1,000 – Garmin Forerunner 165 Smartwatch

Prize Notes:

• All donations must be received by the Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Inc. (WLF) by 10:00 AM August 8, 2026. Donations received after 10:00 AM on August 8, 2026 will not count towards your fundraising total.
• Prizes will be drawn after the 10:00 AM deadline on August 8, 2026.
• Need not be present to win.
• Fundraisers may only win one prize. 

The prize drawing process:

• Fundraisers who raise at least $1,000 will have their names placed in the drawing for the Garmin Forerunner 165 Smartwatch.
• After a winner is chosen, the fundraisers who did not win will have their name stay in the drawing and then the fundraisers who raised at least $500 will have their names added to the drawing.
• The drawing will then take place for the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro-Bone Conduction Headphones.
• The fundraisers who did not win will keep their names in the drawing and then the fundraisers who raised at least $250 will have their names added to the drawing.
• The drawing will then take place for the JBL FLIP 5 Waterproof Portable Speaker.
• The fundraisers who did not win will keep their names in the drawing and then the fundraisers who raised at least $125 will have their names added to the drawing.
• The drawing will then take place for the Beach/Camping/Picnic Sand Free Blanket.
• The chances of winning depends on the number of fundraisers who reach each level.

We need you, your club, or your business to help support Wisconsin Lions Camp. This is an excellent way to promote a club, an event, or simply advertise a business.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall Male and Female finishers for the 5k, 10k, and 15 mile bike. Additionally, first place finishers for the following age groups will receive an award:

• 17 & under Male and Female
• 18-29 Male and Female
• 30-44 Male and Female
• 45-59 Male and Female
• 60+ Male and Female
