Hydration Guy High Five

You've gotten hydration from him. You've gotten high fives from him. At long last it's time for the inaugural Hydration Guy High Five! This 5-mile event starts in Gowanus at the Bakline Flagship store and takes you to Cobble Hill, Red Hook and back. More on the course below.

• This is a timed so you can race it, tempo it, fun run it - make it your own!
• Hydration will be plentiful, including 2 hydration stops on the course and some fun variety at the Finish HQ.
• Entry fee includes a bib, lots of post-race hydration & snacks, and a bag of party favors to take home
• Optional $16 add-on for the inaugural race shirt with the awesome race logo (8/24 Update: deadline to order a guaranteed size has passed. There will be an option to purchase on race day.)
• Photographers on the course and a great sunset photo op at the turnaround point!
• A portion of each entry will be donated to Fast Feet NYC

This out-and-back course will take you from Bakline in Gowanus, through Cobble Hill and into Red Hook where you'll turn around on Valentino Pier (and have a great photo op). You'll run over the Gowanus Canal, up Smith Street, past some beautiful Cobble Hill brownstones, over the BQE pedestrian bridge, and through industrial Red Hook before the waterfront payoff.

This is not a closed-streets race. The route will have directionals and marshals at all turns and key intersections. All participants run at their own risk and will be required to sign a waiver at check-in.
