IACP Police Chase 5K at SeaWorld Orlando

Try to outrun police leaders from all over the world during SeaWorld’s IACP Police Chase 5k. The International Association of Chiefs of Police conference will be in Orlando, and those chiefs and sheriffs will be strapping on their running shoes. This is your chance to outrun the police… if you can.  

This event takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at SeaWorld Orlando to benefit The Russell Home for Atypical Children in Orlando. Enjoy the relaxing ambiance of the park’s picturesque pathways and catch a glimpse of SeaWorld’s animals before you cross the finish line at Expedition Odyssey Plaza. There are even incredible photo opportunities throughout the course that you will not want to miss! 

The 2026 Sea World Orlando IACP Police Chase 5K registration also includes a ONE DAY TICKET to Sea World Orlando to be used by December 31, 2026. This is certain to be a memorable day for racers of all ages. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Russell Home for Atypical Children.

Awards
Awards top 3 Overall Males & Females, Master's Winners, and top 3 in each age group 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc. 

Event Timeline:

5:45 am - Registration and Packet Pickup opens (near SeaWorld main entrance)
6:45 am - Parking lot closes - please plan to be on-site at least 45 minutes prior to the race start
7:00 am - START of the 5K Run
8:00 am - Awards Ceremony (at the post-race party by the Sea Harbor Pavilions)

Early Packet Pickup

CLERMONT: Tuesday, October 20th at Suncreek Brewery 6:00 PM-8:00 PM

WHEN:  Thursday, October 22nd, Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th
LOCATION: Orange County Convention Center
TIME: 8 AM- 5:30 PM

*Friends and family are allowed to pick up other people's race items. 

RACE DAY: You can opt to pick up your packet at SeaWorld Orlando on Race Day
Day beginning at 5:45 am. However, please allow additional time to pick
up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.

ALL Registration Fees for the 5K include FREE parking at SeaWorld on
raceday.

Strollers are allowed in the 5K. Nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. We do ask those registrants participating with a stroller, must line up the after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up at on the day of the race. Only paid registrants of the 5K will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive
the medal, you will have to register them for the 5K.

Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area, the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. In order to ensure safety of all runners, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, baby carriers and dogs are prohibited from the race course. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.
