Ider's Founder's Day 5K Walk & Run

We heard you, Ider. And this year, we aim to made a change and grow our community.

The 2026 Founder's Day 5K is happening September 7th at 7:00 a.m. right here in Ider. We're kicking things off with a 5K walk and finishing strong with a 5K to runners. 

Finisher metals for 8 categories:

5K Walk:

Men over 50, men under 50

Women over 50, women under 50 

5K Run:

Men over 50, men under 50

Women over 50, women under 50

Every single dollar raised this year goes directly to our Town's Park—a vibrant community space where neighbors come together and genuine connections are made. This race is about more than just running; it's about building a community that truly cares for one another.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, prefer a leisurely walk, want to cheer on friends from the sidelines, or contribute through a donation, there's a meaningful role for you on September 7th.
