Start your Thanksgiving morning the right way at the Jersey City Turkey Day 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run on Thursday, November 26, 2026! Join runners, walkers, families, and friends along the scenic Jersey City waterfront, featuring incredible views of Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island.

This annual Turkey Day tradition brings the community together for a fun, festive race that’s perfect for everyone — from competitive runners chasing a fast 5K to families and first-timers enjoying the 1-Mile Fun Run.

The 5K start and finish line, along with check-in and the festival area will be located near the Colgate Clock and 30 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ

Rideshare & Drop-Off (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
Please use 30 Hudson St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 as your destination. 

Public Transit Options
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: Exit at Essex Street (short walk to the event)
PATH: Exchange Place station — approximately an 8-minute walk south to the event area
Ferry: Paulus Hook terminal — about a 3-minute walk

Driving & Parking
Metered street parking is available nearby on a first-come, first-served basis.
The closest and most convenient garage is LM Liberty Parking, located at 33 Hudson St, Jersey City, NJ 07302.
We recommend arriving early and allowing extra time for parking.

The 1 mile fun run starts at 9:00am and the 5K starts at 10:00am.

Start at Colgate Clock:
Head north along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway (HRWW)
Turn east onto Grundy Pier
Go around Grundy Pier and head north along the (HRWW).
Turn east around the Hyatt Regency Hotel
Go around the Hyatt and head north on the (HRWW).
Turn east down PIER 1 Apartments Pier
Make U-turn and head West. 
Head North along the (HRWW)
Turn west on the (HRWW).
Turn North on the (HRWW).
Make a U-turn at Merchant Ship Propeller (water stop) 
Head back south on the course following the steps above in reverse. 
Finish at the Colgate Clock
