Pricing Policy
The True Price
Our Policy:- We don't feel that the "service charge/convenience charge" is fair to any athlete. At Race Awesome the price you see is the price you pay, nothing more. This is our "True Price Guarantee".
Refund Policy
What We Offer:- There are No Refunds and entries are Not Transferable.
However, if you are injured, simply email us at RaceAwesome@RaceAwesome.com and explain your injury. We will then offer you the opportunity to come and work at the event you registered for. In return for working at the event, we will roll your entry over to the same race the following year at no charge. We don't require a doctor's note, honesty is just fine for us.
USATF
USA Track & Field (USATF):- is the National Governing Body for track & field, long-distance running and race walking in the United States. USATF encompasses the world's oldest organized sports, the most-watched events of Olympic broadcasts, the No. 1 high school and junior high school participatory sport and more than 30 million adult runners in the United States. Led by President Stephanie Hightower and CEO Max Siegel, USATF is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization with a staff of professional program administrators at the National Office in Indianapolis.
PROPER BIB PLACEMENT
TO GET YOUR BEST RACE PHOTOS
Place your Bib on your CHEST OR ABDOMEN FACING FRONT, Not the side or on your back!
The photos on RunSignUp will be easily searchable by your name or Bib# if your Bib# clearly shows in the photo.
So please take your time to have your Bib# clearly displayed for our photographers!

FINISH LINE PHOTO TIPS:
For the best-looking Finish Line photos, make sure to keep your head up, arms up, do not look at your watch, stay in the center under the clock, and SMILE for the camera! You will then get a GREAT Finish Line photo!
Try to avoid getting too close behind another runner, which will possibly block your photo!
We normally try to take a zoomed in photo as you approach the FL (about 10 yds out), and the last photo right after you cross the FL!
SPECIAL PHOTOS:
Don’t hesitate to ask Ed from LIRP, Long Island Running Photos, our race photographer to take any special photos of you and your friends and family. He is there to help you get those special memorable photos at the race!
Note: We try to photograph everyone, but it is not always possible.
Rules & Regulations
Event Rules and Regulations
USA Track & Field has issued a set of rules to maintain consistency and order from race to race across the country. The rules include sections on membership, and rules of conduct. The USATF Competition Rules book is available for viewing, in PDF format below.
Complete 2014 USATF Competition Rules Book
Every participant, official, volunteer and spectator should consider all safety issues and make related decisions prudently without reliance upon the Competitive Rules.
Safety
A Shared Responsibility:- No matter what inspired you to become an athlete, you’re responsible for showing up at the starting line fully prepared for the challenge ahead of you. Safety in the sport is not just the responsibility of the National Governing Body, sanctioned events and race directors, who are subject to the scrutiny of USATF sanctioning process and expected to uphold the best safety protocols. It's also the responsibility of the athlete.
