We know that an inclusive and diverse workforce can boost productivity, improve employee morale, and help contribute to social development for participating companies. Including co-workers and colleagues who use wheelchairs so they can fully participate in fun, fitness, and employee camaraderie helps to accomplish Kaiser Permanente's goal: Activities promoting health and physical well-being of the entire workforce - from large companies to small employers and independent business owners - should be inclusive and offer challenges to everyone across the board.

FAQS
1. Who can participate?
The more the merrier! A company may enter an unlimited number of runners, walkers, joggers, and wheelchair participants, from 1 person to 5000! Because of insurance restrictions, strollers, animals, baby joggers, skateboards, bicycles, and rollerblades are not allowed on the racecourse, with the exception of participants using a wheelchair who are officially registered for the 5K Roll event.
NOTE: you DO NOT need to be a member of Kaiser Permanente to participate.
2. I walk. Can I participate?
Yes! Over 50% of event participants are walkers. For the safety of all participants, runners and walkers will be directed to separate start areas. Watch for signs to find the walker start lineup!
3. How do I get my company signed up?
The team captain must first register the company team. Refer to our Getting Started webpage for more information. Once the team is ready, the team captain will get the word out to sign up! Each person will click the "Sign Up" tab at the top of the page.
4. Do any charities benefit from the race?
A portion of the proceeds are donated to various charities including the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the Run Gulf Coast Foundation.
5. May I bring my children?
All participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature. Other considerations: the course has some hills, it can still be very warm in September, and there are a lot of participants at this event, so we recommend children under 13 staying at home. Due to insurance restrictions, strollers, animals, baby joggers, skateboards, bicycles, and rollerblades are not allowed on the racecourse.
6. Where can I tell my company members to meet?
Set up a time and place to meet prior to arriving at the race site. You will also want to know where to meet your team after the race. Team Captains can reserve a tent, tables, chairs, and ice for your team through the Corporate Team Store.
7. Group Transportation Recommendation
If you're organizing group travel for an event like the Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run Walk & Roll, CharterUP makes it easy to book dependable Atlanta charter bus rentals with just a few clicks. And if your team is coming from other parts of Georgia—like historic Savannah—CharterUP also offers streamlined charter bus rentals in Savannah or any city in between, ensuring a smooth and coordinated travel experience from coast to city.
