Kids on the Run 2026-2027

Kids on the Run Series:  A series of six, one-mile runs designed to build camaraderie and competition among the local elementary school (grades K - 5th) running clubs. Individual runners are also invited to participate. *Child cannot be older than 11 years old to participate in this event*

Entry Fee Options:

1) Online Registration Option (includes all 6 races & 2 t-shirts): $35 + tax

You must register by Monday, Sept. 28 to receive the 2 t-shirts.

2)  Schools/Running Club Registration Option:  Schools/ Running clubs will need to submit the attached Google Spreadsheet with all the participants information filled in, no later than September 28. This way we can get all the participants shirts ordered in time for packet pick up. Email the spreadsheet to: run.srm@gmail.com  NO Paper entry forms please!

3) Single Race Registration:  Registration for ONE race only is $10+tax at the race site, on race day from 4:30-5:15 PM. Registrations after 5:15 PM cannot be accepted. No t-shirts for this option. 

Awards:

~Medals will be presented to the Top 10 finishers at each run.

~End of the series $$$ awards will be presented to the Running Clubs with:

1) Most Participants 2) Most Top 10 Boy Finishers 3) Most Top 10 Girl Finishers.

Results:

~Results will be posted immediately after the race @: www.sportspectrumusa.com

~No revisions to results 24 hours after race is over.

Packet Pick-up at Sportspectrum:  6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport

• Thursday October 8th - Friday October 9th, 10am - 6:00pm
• Monday October 12th 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday October 13th 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
• Race days at the race site, 4:30 p.m.-until 15 minutes before the start of the race.

Schools that are picking up for more than 10 runners should email list to: run.srm@gmail.com and give one days notice before picking up the packets.

 

IMPORTANT- Chip Timing:  All races are chip-timed. Your child will receive one (1) bib for the entire series. That bib includes his/her chip. The number on the bib is assigned to your child only, throughout the series. Keep your bib throughout the year! If you have more than one child, write their names on their bibs. No bib = no results. Wrong bib = wrong results.

Bib replacement cost is $10+tax.
