Kohler Choose Well...Live Well and the Kohler HeadsUP Business Resource Group are proud to continue the conversation around mental health and help break the stigma that too often surrounds it.

In recognition of World Mental Health Day, we invite associates to participate in the annual Kohler Co. #IWILLLISTEN Mental Health Awareness Walk, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the mental well-being of associates and their families.

Walk anytime between Thursday, October 1, and Saturday, October 31.

By participating, you'll join fellow associates in raising awareness, encouraging understanding, and demonstrating that mental health matters.

Registration Information

Registration is free and allows your participation data to be automatically submitted through the RaceJoy app.

After registering, you will receive a bib number, which is required to connect your account in RaceJoy and automatically track your progress. If you choose not to use the app, you may manually submit your completion information.

Please note: This is a non-competitive event and is not timed. RaceJoy is available solely for your personal participation and tracking experience.

Getting Started with RaceJoy

  1. Download the RaceJoy app on your mobile device.

  2. Access the event and select "I Want to Be Tracked."

  3. Follow the setup prompts using your assigned bib number.

  4. Ensure your phone's sound is turned on and respond to any in-app setup requests to enable the best experience.

Global Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • All global associates have access to mental health support and resources through the EAP. You and your dependents are eligible for 6 fully paid visits per problem per calendar year. Services include information and referrals for depression, anxiety, stress, balancing work and life issues, substance abuse, and more. Refer to the Mental Health Resources page of the Global Well-being Sharepoint Site for more details and access information.

HeadsUP Business Resource Group 

  • HeadsUP is Kohler’s first Business Resource Group (BRG) focused solely on mental health. HeadsUP kicked off in May of 2020 and promotes mental health awareness, education, and support for all and advocates for those Kohler associates, family, and friends affected by mental illness. If you are interested in joining HeadsUP or have any questions about the BRG, please contact them at HeadsUP@kohler.com and/or join their Teams page.

  • Global associates (excluding China) have access to Sharecare, which includes well-being initiatives, resources, and the ability to connect (and compete) with associates around the world.

So, what is #IWILLLISTEN? Supported by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), #IWILLLISTEN is a campaign that invites each of us to make a promise to help break the stigma surrounding mental health by listening with compassion, openness, and understanding.

Fighting stigma starts with all of us. At Kohler Co., we are committed to fostering a culture of care where mental health conversations are welcomed and supported.

We invite you to join us in raising awareness, showing support, and taking meaningful steps toward a more open and compassionate workplace.

As associates of a sigma-free company, let’s commit to:

2. Change the conversation

  • As a “StigmaFree Company”, Kohler Co. declares itself a “stigma-free workplace” and pledges to continuously fight the stigma against mental illness in its workplace by:
    • Acknowledging that mental health is analogous to physical health and is part of an associate’s overall well-being.
    • Incorporating company-wide trainings and resources on mental health and mental illnesses consistently throughout the year and across all of Kohler’s corporate functions and business groups.
    • Advocating that all leadership, management, and human resource associates have conversations on mental health with their respective associates with the hopes of forging a trusting environment within Kohler.  
    • Promoting open and public communications on mental health amongst all Kohler associates.
    • Providing a place of support and inclusion, without judgment, for all, including those Kohler associates, family, and friends affected by mental

IN-PERSON KICK-OFF EVENT (KOHLER, WI):

Join us for an in-person kick-off event to come together in support of mental health awareness, connection, and education.

  • Date: Thursday, October 15
  • Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT
  • Location: Lawn between the Main Office and the HR/Law Building
  • Address: 444 Highland Drive, Kohler, WI

This is not a formal race. The kick-off event is designed to encourage social connection, promote mental health awareness, and invite attendees to participate in a casual 20 to 30-minute walk on the Kohler Co. campus.

What You Can Expect

  • Light lunch sponsored by Jimmy John’s and KOHLER Choose Well...Live Well, while supplies last
  • Raffle items and silent auction to support Mental Health America Lakeshore
  • Raffle tickets available for purchase at the kick-off event, with cash and card accepted
  • Silent auction beginning at the kick-off event and closing at 12:50 p.m. CT
  • #IWILLLISTEN T-shirts provided by HeadsUP for the first 125 in-person attendees
  • All proceeds from the raffle and silent auction will go directly to Mental Health America Lakeshore.
  • The first 125 attendees registered for the in-person kick-off event will receive a #IWILLLISTEN T-shirt, compliments of HeadsUP. Please note that the T-shirt design is the same as the 2025 design. Those receiving a shirt will be notified in advance, with pick-up available at the event.
