About Lexington Habitat’s Shamrock Shuffle 3K
Kick off running season in the bluegrass with the 20th Annual Lexington Habitat for Humanity Shamrock Shuffle 3K. Come shuffle with us on March 14th at 8:30am in downtown Lexington! Net proceeds benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity.
For nearly 40 years, Lexington Habitat has partnered with families and individuals across Lexington to provide a pathway to affordable homeownership. Through the homebuyer program, more than 500 households have realized the dream of homeownership. The impacts of affordable homeownership are far-reaching, influencing health, children’s academic outcomes and more. Our critical home repair program has served more than 100 households in Lexington through functionality, safety and accessibility repairs that allow people to remain in their homes for years to come.

RESULTS INFO
Professional Timing
The Shamrock Shuffle will feature professional chip timing. Your bib will have a timing tag attached to the back of it. Do not bend or fold the bib or you risk breaking the chip. Your bib must be visible on the front of your body without being covered when you cross the timing mats at the start and finish lines in order to receive a time.
Results will be posted online shortly after the race. Click the Results tab on the menu bar to view results.

Where is the start line?
The start line will be announced soon!
Are we running in waves again?
No, everyone will start the race at the same time, but we will be split into corrals at the start to help the flow of the race
Can I pick up my packet day of?

Can I walk, bring my stroller, bring my dog, etc?
Yes! The beauty and intention behind this race, and it being only 3 kilometers, is so that it can be as accessible as possible, we would love to see all the kiddos, doggos, and puppers we can! Just please make sure to bring doggy bags, as we want to be respectful of downtown, the course, and other Shufflers 😊

*Note- Main Street, Upper, and Short Street will all be closed at 6am, so plan your route accordingly.
How does chip timing work?
Each bib has a chip attached that tracks when you, as an individual, cross the start and finish line. So if you start at the back of the pack, and it takes you 30 seconds to cross the official start line, your time is not affected. Each runner has a chip that counts towards their own time, the "clock" starts and stops when you cross the start and finish line.
What is the time I must be finished by?
All runners will be required to be off the streets at 10am, if you do not finish the race by 9:45am, we cannot guarantee you will have a completed time. If you think you will need any special assistance or needs, please contact Info@shamrockshuffle3k.com
Can I register day-of?
While you can register day-of on the website, we ask that you would consider registering beforehand, to allow for us to know numbers earlier and allow for day-of packet pickup to go smoother.
