LGRAW's Bold in the Cold 5K & 15K

Join us for the 27th running of Bold in the Cold, Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers (LGRAW) club's signature Winter event. Choose from a 5K or 15K race, both wind through the scenic C. Shane Wilbanks Trail along Lake Grapevine, offering breathtaking views of the lake.

This race is not only a community tradition but also a vital part of LGRAW’s annual operating budget, supporting our members and programs. In addition, 30% or more of this year’s race proceeds will be donated directly to the LGRAW Scholarship Fund benefiting local area track and cross-country runners.

• Both races start at the same time (8 AM) near the RAW clubhouse. Both races will start in the same direction (running west) and use the same finish line. 
• Bold in the Cold uses a re-usable chip timing system. Race participants will pick up their chip on RACE DAY. Timing chips are fastened to your shoe. Timing chips are returned at the finish line.
• Aid stations will have both water and sports drink.  
• Race items cannot be mailed to event "no shows."
• Event registrations are non-refundable. Race insurance is available from Run Sign-Up for a at a nominal fee. Refunds will not be made in the case of inclement weather cancellations.
• History tells us that it will be COLD on race morning!
