About Little Oregon Trail Run
Don't waste the energy going 2,252 miles to Oregon when you can get a taste of it right in Cleveland. This 13km (8.2 mile) race is dubbed 'Little Oregon' for the single track section that features rows of pine trees we naively but endearingly compare to the Northwest. Join us for the full race or sign up for the 5K option.
The Starting Line is just south of South Mastick Picnic Area. Parking is available at South Mastick Picnic Area and a short walk to the starting line.

- Awards: This is our only award-eligible category. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers for events with over 5 of each gender or top 1 of each for less than 5.

Ruck Category Details
Those wishing to race in the ruck category must provide their own pack and weight. All participants must wear a ruck/backpack, plate carrier or tactical vest with the minimum weight for your selected category throughout the duration of the event. For those in the competitive division, gear will be weighed at the start, and the rucker must maintain the minimum required weight the entire race.
Ruck events have two classification options:
Competitive (15+ Lbs.)
Non-Competitive - no weight minimum
Ruck weigh-in of packs will be 20 minutes before the race at the starting line. Ruck weight must be on the athlete at all times.

Weather Policy
It's Northeast Ohio, and the weather can be well, unpredictable this time of year. We've seen rain, wind, snow, and all the other types of weather. However, that is what makes this race fun - whatever the weather elements may bring.
With that in mind, safety is always number one when it comes to athletes. We will do our best to communicate any weather issues at race site with announcements by our team and/or volulnteers.
For this race, if there is lightning - seek shelter at the South Mastick Golf Course building, the Stables, in the pavilion, or in your vehicle.
