Live Like Bella Superhero 5k presented by Nicklaus Children's Hospital

Since 2015, supporters from around the world have come together for our Superhero 5k honoring children battling cancer!

In 2027 we come together yet again to honor our superheroes in their fight! Our Live Like Bella Superhero 5k presented by Nicklaus Children's Hospital will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027. Can’t be in town? We’ve got you covered with our virtual option so you still have the opportunity to be a part of this event and support children battling cancer.

Event Details:

Runner Option $43: Timed Event – Runners will be officially timed and awarded age group awards. 

Walker Option $43: Not Timed – Does not qualify for age group awards. Strollers are welcome.

Virtual Run $43: Can't make it in person? NO WORRIES, we've got you covered! Participate from anywhere in the world - create your own 5k team in London with friends or sleep in late in California.

Kids' Dash $15: Does your little one want to join the kid's only race? Sign them up for our first ever Kids' Dash! Kid's 2-7 welcome, registration for Kids' Dash and 5k are separate cost. 

Children under two are FREE

*There will be a Finish Festival after the race*

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

Where should I go?
Tropical Park (7900 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155).
Enter through the Bird Road entrance and head to
the football field. 

When does the race start?
8:00 a.m.
 
If I didn’t register online can I do it at the event?
Yes, we will have race day registration.
 
What does it cost to participate?
5K Runner - $43.00
5K Walker - $43.00
Kid’s Dash - $15.00 (Ages 2-3 – 100 meter dash, ages 3-4 – 200 meter dash, ages 5-7 – 400 meter dash)

Where does the Kid’s Dash start?
Look for the Kid’s Dash tent on the football field. Kids will meet at 9:15 a.m. and be escorted to their starting point. Please listen to announcements for race day instructions. For the safety of all the little ones, we do ask that parents not run with their child and follow race staff directions.

Do I need anything to be on course?
Yes, you must have your bib number pinned to your shirt or shorts. Beer wristband for those 21+ if enjoying the beer garden.

Will there be an aid station/water on the course?
Yes, there will be two aid stations throughout the course as well as post-race nutrition at the Finish Festival.
 
What am I picking up at Packet Pickup?
Race bib number (yellow bib/runner) (white bib/walker), event t-shirt, and race goody bag.

I didn’t select a t-shirt size when I registered online. Can I let them know when I pick up my bib?
Yes

When should I arrive?
You should give yourself plenty of time to park and collect your bib number and event t-shirt. No later than 7:15 a.m. The race will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.
 
Where do I park?
Tropical Park designated parking lot and spaces. Parking is free.
 
Can I bring my family?
Yes, everyone is welcome, the more the merrier! 
 
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes

Can I bring my pet?
NO! For the safety of your pet as well as those participating in the race, PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME.

Per Tropical Park policy pets are not allowed outside the designated dog park area or in and around the track area. You will be asked to leave if you come with your pet.

Will there be food?
YES! We will have water and basic runner nutrition for all those participating in the 5k. We also have various options at our new and improved Finish Festival this year! Brace yourself for some mouthwatering grub. To add to the fun, we have our Beer Garden with drinks provided by local breweries!

When will it end?
Most runners will be off course no later than 9:30 a.m. but you are welcome to enjoy the day at our Finish Festival after the race!
 
Will there be gear check?
No, please leave all our valuables at home.
 
Will there be finisher medals?
Yes
 
Will there be age group awards?
Yes, ages 14U – 70
 
Will there be post-race festivities?
Yes, there will be a Finish Festival with a DJ, Pizza vendor, Beer Garden, Kids' Zone, as well as many sponsor tents, and an age group award ceremony. Our Kids' Zone will have all types of fun activities including a bounce house, arts & crafts, face painting, and more! 
 
Do I need anything to access the Beer Garden?
Yes, please remember to bring your ID so you can get a wristband to access the area.
