About Liverpool Turkey Trot Presented by Bluefors
The Liverpool Turkey Trot is a 501(c)(3) status and is a premier run with a festive atmosphere and an awesome park setting to start your Thanksgiving day! Since its humble beginnings 12 years ago, when 124 runners entered, the LTT has grown into one of the largest and most festive turkey trots in Central New York with over 2400 strong and growing!
Community
The Liverpool Turkey Trot Race is all about an opportunity for every Central New York participant to come together and make a difference. All proceeds from LTT go towards nourishing our community needs.

With the help of our participants and sponsors, the 2024 Liverpool Turkey Trot was able to donate $31,000 to help the Central New York Community!
Over the past 10 years, we've donated over $200,000 to other non-profit or educational organizations!
Virtual Events Info
The LTT will continue to have its VIRTUAL component in 2025. We know everyone loves our event because of the family-friendly atmosphere, the community camaraderie, and getting some exercise in on Thanksgiving morning. You can still do all of that on your own, VIRTUALLY. You can run / walk anywhere in the world from November 27th through December 4th. Run the typical 1 mile, 5K, and 5 Mile event or all 3. We no longer have a leaderboard to report times.
