Course Information
- Out-and-back ride turns around at mile 31
- Total elevation gain ~2800 ft
- Water / snack / aid stations at mile marker 10, 20 and 31 (turn-around point)
Overall winners male, female, non-binary and paracycling receive a custom Marfa100 winners jersey. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group. Prizes vary each year!

100K Milestones
Mile 01
The route begins by heading Southwest on Ranch Road 2810 towards Cherry Hill, the first ascent along your 62 mile journey.

Mile 05
Friendly horses cheer you on as you pass Ranch 2810

Mile 10
Breeze through mile 10 of your journey which would have been your first water stop along the route had the pandemic never happened.

Mile 13
Known as "big hill" this 3.3% grade spanning a half mile will start to wake your legs up.

Mile 18
Pass by stockyards and windmills as your elevation reaches 5200' above sea level.

Mile 20
This is when the topography and vegetation along the route begin to shift. Mile 20 marks the second waterstop (great restaurant) along the Marfa 100 route

Mile 26
This marks the highest point of the ride at around 5800'. In the background you will see the Chinati mountains.

Mile 30
Brace yourself as you reach speeds of +30mph and descend past the largest road cut along the route.

Mile 32
Great Job! This is your turnaround point, just imagine the smiling faces of the Marfa 100 crew handing you ice cold water and fizzy electrolyte tablets.

Mile 34
Climb 550' out of the canyon in the next 3.5 miles, this is the steepest yet most rewarding climb of the route.

Mile 38
Enjoy the slight descent as you make your way back to Marfa

Mile 44
Bomb your way down big hill as you begin to see the shimmering lights of Marfa getting closer
