Mayo Clinic Arizona Gift of Life Honor Walk 2026

April is National Donate Life Month—a time to honor the extraordinary legacy of organ, eye, and tissue donors, raise awareness about donation, and offer hope to the more than 100,000 people still waiting for a life-saving transplant.

For over 25 years, Mayo Clinic Arizona has walked alongside more than 11,000 patients and their families through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Each transplant represents more than a medical milestone—it is a legacy left behind through the selfless gift of donation. This life-saving work is only possible because donors chose to give life beyond their own.

To honor these legacies, we invite you to join our virtual “Gift of Life Honor Walk” throughout April. Together, we aim to dedicate 22,000 minutes—double the number of transplants performed—through walking, running, or biking. Every minute is in tribute to those who gave, those who received a second chance at life, and those we hope to meet in the future.

Registration is free, and participants can track their activities online as we move together in remembrance, gratitude, and hope—one step at a time, carrying the Legacy of the Gift of Life forward.
