MCRRC Annual Awards Banquet

Join us in celebrating the achievements of your fellow club members as we present awards for the 2026 Runners of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Coach of the Year, and many others!  A buffet dinner will be served. Giveaways will be provided at the door and all attendees will have a chance to win one of several raffle prizes!

Doors open at 4:30pm and dinner will be available. The program will begin promptly at 5:30 and should last about 2 hours. We kindly request that all attendees refrain from entering before 4:30 as we will still be setting up the event. Bowling lanes have been reserved by MCRRC for a select number of attendees to enjoy following the program from 8:00-9pm. Please see the "Bowling" tab on this page for more information on how to join a bowling team.

Registration

Pre-registration will open on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Pre-registration is open to ONLY Award Winners (including Series Winners), Nominees, Race Directors, Program Directors, and Presenters. The general membership will be invited to register on Monday, Feb. 23 at 9:00 am for any remaining spots. Once registration is full, a waitlist will be in effect.

4:30pm             Doors open! Please do not arrive early, as we will be busy preparing for the event. Thank you for your understanding.

4:30-5:30pm     Social Hour - Stop by the dinner buffet, grab a beverage, play some complimentary bocce, and catch up with fellow members.

5:30-7:45pm     Let's be seated and enjoy the program - there are lots of awards to get through.

8:00-9:00pm     Bowling (for those lucky enough to register for a lane!)

9:00pm             "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" - Pinstripes closes

We are pleased to offer an hour of bowling, for select attendees, following the banquet. The club has reserved 6 lanes (maximum of 8 participants in each lane) from 8-9pm (the program should end between 7:30 and 8pm). Guests wishing to bowl will have the opportunity to join a lane during the banquet registration process.

How to Join a Lane:

During the registration process, you will be asked if you would like to join a bowling team. After selecting "yes" and agreeing to the event waiver, please select from one of the lanes available.

If you would like to see who is bowling in each lane before making your selection, please click on the menu tab called "Bowling Teams." You will see the 6 lanes listed as hyperlinks.  By clicking on one of the lanes, you will see who are signed up for that lane. This should be done before starting the registration process.

If you have already registered for the banquet (and declined to bowl) and change your mind, you can simply head back to the main page and click on the menu tab called "Bowling Teams." You will see a "Join" button for each available lane.

We understand there is nowhere near enough space to accommodate everyone who wants to bowl.  Space is available on a first come, first served basis, with priority to those receiving awards.  Thank you for your understanding.

The "Rules"

Each lane has been reserved for one hour, from 8-9pm.  Pinstripes closes at 9pm on Sundays, so all games will end by 9.  Groups are welcome to play as many games as possible during the one-hour timeframe. 

Bowlers may switch lanes upon arrival, if mutually agreed upon to do so -- we don't plan to micromanage this process!

Bowlers are welcome to order any food or drink items available during bowling. While MCRRC will cover the lane fees, food and beverages in the bowling alley will not be covered and must be paid by attendees.

If you have signed up to join a lane and can no longer play, please contact office@mcrrc.org right away so your spot can be made available for another member.

A buffet dinner will be available 4:30pm through 6:00pm:

• Spicy Grilled Chicken
• Baked Mac & Cheese 
• Penne Pomodoro (Vegetarian, Vegan)
• Garden Salad
• Parmesan Potato Chips
• Freshly Baked Cookies & Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Brownies
• Mini buns, provolone, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard

Unlimited fountain soda, regular & decaffeinated La Colombe Coffee, and Mighty Leaf hot/iced tea is included.

A full bar in the foyer will be open at 4:30 through the event duration. Each guest will receive one drink ticket upon entry, for beer and wine only. Additional alcoholic beverages, including spirits, are available for purchase.
