About Metric Marathon
The Metric Marathon is held the first weekend of October and is the sixth race of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series. The race features a scenic 26.2-kilometer (16.28-mile) course through Harwood area of Southern Anne Arundel County.
Entry fee is $15. Annapolis Striders members will receive a club discount at checkout making the entry fee only $10.00. If you would like to become a member, please visit -- https://runsignup.com/Club/MD/Annapolis/AnnapolisStriders. If the race is not sold out, race day registration will be $25.00 for everyone.

Workers Run
Workers runs are provided as a way for club members to both volunteer and maintain their Championship Series or club Ironman standing. Consult the Championship Series rules for details or the race director and Championship Series Coordinator with questions.

Course
This course features rolling hills on paved rural roads with more significant hills found at miles 12 and 14.
THIS IS AN OPEN ROAD COURSE.
Please follow the directions of Police and course officials, run within the coned sections on some portions of the course and always run facing traffic.
Aid Stations: There will be water and Gatorade on the course with 5 water stops at approximately 3 mile intervals. Late finishers and runners needing more frequent water stops should carry additional water.

Packet pick up and race day registration (if not sold out) begins at 6:45 AM.
Race Rules
Per insurance requirements headphones, wheels, and pets are NOT allowed on the course.
Contact the race director regarding any timing discrepancies as soon as possible.
All decisions by the race director are final.
