MIDPOINT MADNESS Veterans Day 5K

Presented by the Fort Myers YMCA of Southwest Florida, this scenic 3.1-mile race begins and ends on the Fort Myers side of the Midpoint Bridge, taking runners on an exciting out-and-back course before finishing near Royal Palm Square. Pre-race activities, post-race festivities, and awards ceremonies will take place at the Fort Myers YMCA of Southwest Florida near the start/finish line.

The race starts and finishes at the base of the Midpoint Bridge, with proceeds benefiting the YMCA Financial Assistance Program.

RaceJoy is a great way to track yourself or others and receive or send cheers.  Times may be submitted via RaceJoy upon completion of your event. However, if you are concerned about the accuracy of your time, please wear a GPS watched or keep your time on your measured 3.1 mile course. Race organizers can correct time discrepancies, just contact via the "Questions" button on this page.

Do NOT use Wi-Fi: You may receive a prompt saying Wi-Fi will improve your location services. Disregard this prompt, and make sure to use your cellular service provider when you turn your tracking on.

HOW IT WORKS

• Sign-up for Midpoint Madness Veteran's Day 5K. Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email with a unique URL link to share with your friends and family.
• When you have received 5 referrals and friends & family register by utilizing your unique URL, you will receive $10 credited back. An additional 5 referrals will result in a full refund of your individual registration.

Awards will be presented after the last runner finishes in the following categories:

• Top Overall Male and Female
• Top Male and Female Masters (40 & Over)
• Top Male and Female Grand Masters (50 & Over)
• Top Male and Female Senior Grand Masters (60 & Over)

Age Group Awards: Awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group combining non-military and military participants: 9 & Under, 10–12, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, and 75 & over.

Participants eligible for Military Award categories must provide branch of service and grade/rank during registration. This information is used to verify eligibility for military division awards.

Race Day Registration: Wed, Nov 11, 2026, 5PM to 6:15PM at Royal Palm Square Plaza, 1400 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL  33907. Please bring your phone and a credit card to register. Cash will not be accepted.

For the safety of all participants, unregistered runners and walkers, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, roller blades, skates, skateboards, and pets are strictly prohibited on the course.

Baby joggers and strollers are permitted; however, participants using them must start at the back of the field and remain behind runners and walkers throughout the race. Stroller participants may not interfere with other participants by passing, weaving, or obstructing the course.

Although this is an evening race, Florida temperatures and humidity levels can remain high even after sunset. Participants are encouraged to stay well hydrated before, during, and after the race.

Please monitor your condition closely and adjust your pace as needed. Signs of heat-related illness may include dizziness, nausea, headache, muscle cramps, or excessive fatigue. If you experience any symptoms, slow down, seek assistance, and stop racing if necessary.

Water station is located at the half way point and finish line. For your safety, we strongly encourage all runners and walkers to prepare appropriately for warm and humid conditions.
