Mo Spring

Break free from winter hibernation at the Mo Spring Marathon, Half Marathon, and 15k at Mohican State Park. The course begins and ends at the historic Mohican Lodge. Seasoned runners as well as enthusiastic beginners and hikers will be challenged by rugged trails and hills in this unique and memorable outdoor experience.

Immerse yourself in Mohican’s diverse ecosystem. The budding trees, spring flowers, ferns, and mosses provide a rich habitat for wildlife and songbirds, as well as a serene backdrop for your adventure. You’ll marvel at the Clearfork Gorge, a Registered National Natural Landmark, offering a breathtaking view over 300 feet deep, surrounded by towering hemlocks and old-growth white pines. Other must-see landmarks include the iconic covered bridge, fire tower, and Lyons Falls. Don’t miss this opportunity to embrace the joys of spring in the heart of one of Ohio’s favorite state parks!

To get a special discounted rate at Mohican Lodge, call the reservation line at 419-938-5411 and ask for the Western Reserve Racing Mo Spring Marathon race discount (you will not receive the discount if you book online). A deposit is due at the time the reservation is made, and the deposit is fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to arrival.
