MSU Miles for Medicine - Powered by SNMA

Miles for Medicine is a 5K run/walk and Kids Fun Run race that put on by the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) of Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine.

At SNMA, we believe that healthcare should be a human right accessible by all, not a privilege. 

This race:

• Helps medical students make a difference locally, regionally, and nationally
• Helps the community improve their health one step at a time.

Come out an enjoy family fun for all ages, free health screenings, music, games, and more, while making healthcare more accessible for everyone in our community.

Pricing: 5k run/walk $30 until 8/30. $35 from 8/31 to 9/6. $40 from 9/17 to 9/19.   Kids $20. Virtual $20 (no shirt, run and support our organization) 

Race Swag: Participants registered by September 6th will receive an exclusive race t-shirt. Shirts are limited in sizes after that date and will available until they are sold out.  Shirts will be available in youth and adult sizes. 

Course: The event will start and finish at Conrad Hall. See the Course Map section along the top of the page. The fun run will be an out and back 

Awards: Overall 5K run/walk winners.  All fun run participants will receive a finisher medal.

Packet Pickup: Race day morning starting at 7:30 am at the race start/finish area (behind Conrad Hall) 

Results will be live and texted to you upon completion of the race. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. 

Proceeds: All donations and a portion of race proceeds will benefit Care Free Medical Clinic in Lansing, MI. Visit our donation page for further details. 

The race will start and finish at Conrad/Fee Hall, in the East Neighborhood courtyard. There is plenty of parking in nearby lots on campus, including the Fee lots 30, 32, and 33.

Parking Information

T-shirt guaranteed with registrations by 9/06. 

Trophy to Overall 5K run/walk winners.  All 5k and fun run participants will receive a finisher medal.
