As part of this exclusive event, you will experience stunning landscapes as you traverse the winter home of the Mt. Jumbo elk herd. The Mount Jumbo Wildlife Management Area closes to all recreation on December 1st - take this chance to recreate responsibly on Missoula's Conservation & Open Space Lands and welcome the wildlife herds back to Jumbo!
- The IN-PERSON race is capped at 300 participants.
- The VIRTUAL race is capped at 35 participants.

Cupless Event
This is a cupless event. If you do not already have one, you may pick up a HydraPak Speed Cup during packet pickup. You can fill this cup at aid stations and finish line. The cup is super lightweight, collapsible and easy to carry. You may also fill you own hydration device (handheld, waist pack, bladder, etc.) at the aid stations. By going cupless, we estimate that we might save almost 1,000 paper cups from being tossed in the landfill.
