Mustache Dash 5k

South Carolina Concerns of Police Survivors is a non-profit organization, which provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line-of-duty as determined by Federal criteria.  South Carolina C.O.P.S. serves all of South Carolina in providing peer support to survivors of fallen officers.

All proceeds from the Mustache Dash will go to the South Carolina C.O.P.S. program in honor of fallen officer, Lieutenant Ethan Kaskin on behalf of the Anderson City Police Department.  Lieutenant Kaskin was not only a police officer, he was also a personal fitness trainer of his own business called Urban Crazy Fitness.  Anyone who knew Lieutenant Kaskin would know that he had taken a lot of pride in the following: his wife, his family / friends, his law enforcement career, his mustache, and of course his clients of Urban Crazy Fitness. 

Prior to his sudden passing on September 25, 2020, Lieutenant Ethan Kaskin had planned to prepare his Urban Crazy Fitness clients to successfully complete a 5k.  He had already thought of a name for this 5k  - "Mustache Dash".  Because he was not able to host the event that he had planned and prepared, with everyone's help and participation, we are going to bring his dreams to reality!!!!  He always wanted to do for others and loved everyone; therefore, he would be proud to know that HIS "MUSTACHE DASH" will be providing funds to help surviving family members of fallen officers. 

PACKET PICK-UP

Packet pick-up will be on race day starting an hour before the event.  

This 5k will travel the same course as the America's 5k.  It will start in front of the courthouse and travel North on Main Street, and will be turning around just before Conford Avenue to finish where it started. 

You do not have to be a "runner" to join us. Whether you are looking at meeting a new PR or just to take a walk to enjoy the outdoors, come join us. Our goal is to bring alll participants together.  Together we can make Lieutenant Kaskin's Mustache Dash a full success.  Come on out to run, stride, stroll, jog, walk or volunteer. One team, one family!!!! 

All sales / registrations are final.  The event will take place RAIN or SHINE.  If the event is cancelled as a result of a pandemic or severe inclement weather, there will not be a make up event date; meanwhile, all funds will still go to the non profit, South Carolina Concerns of Police Survivors organization.
