NAMI Arkansas End the Stigma 5K Run/Walk - Northwest Arkansas

The NAMI Arkansas 5K Run/Walk to End the Stigma raises funds for NAMI Arkansas programs that support, educate, and advocate for those affected by mental illness.  It also provides a place to celebrate and honor those living with mental health issues and remember those with a mental health condition who have passed on.

The End the Stigma 5K is the sole fundraiser hosted by NAMI Arkansas annually - please consider including a donation when you register. If you are interested in supporting NAMI by running or walking, but live in the Central Arkansas area, consider joining our event in North Little Rock on Saturday, September 19. NAMI Arkansas is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to help people living with mental illness, their families, and the community. NAMI Arkansas operates a statewide organization providing and coordinating a network of local support groups, providing support, education, and advocacy throughout the state.

This year, packets will be available for pickup Friday, September 11 from 11AM to 6PM (location TBD). We highly encourage participants to pick up their packet the day before the race.

Race morning packet pickup will be available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at Lake Fayetteville Park, near the start/finish area. 

Due to anticipated high traffic on race morning, we encourage you to arrive before 7:30 AM if you plan to register or pick up your packet. 

In-person registration will be available at both packet pick-up and on race morning. Online registration will close at 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 10.

The NAMI Arkansas End the Stigma 5K Run/Walk NWA is a 5K out-and-back route, starting and ending near the Lake Fayetteville Marina. Runners and walkers will run along the north side of Lake Fayetteville Trail past the Ozark Natural Science Center and then turn around and head back to Veterans Park.

There is a large parking lot located near the start/finish area. The yellow star on the map shows where parking is located. The green star is the start/finish area.

All race day participants will receive a finisher's medal as they cross the finish line. We will unveil the medal prior to the race! 

Our top 3 female and male finishers in the timed 5K will also receive cash prizes. 

First place - $100
Second place - $75
Third place - $50

T-shirts are included with your registration in the timed 5K Run or 5K Walk. The t-shirt design will be revealed at a later date.

Please note: You'll need to pick up your packet to receive your t-shirt. 

If you need a size different from the one indicated on your registration, you may be able to exchange your shirt; however, this exchange is not guaranteed and will depend on availability.
