NextGen Triathlon Club Training

Whether your kids are new to triathlon or ready to take their racing to the next level, NextGen has you covered! NextGen is a USAT certified youth triathlon training program located in League City, Texas, for athletes ages 5-14.  Our coaches strive to create a positive and uplifting environment and encourage athletes of all ability levels to achieve their goals through creative workouts and supportive coaching.

All participants in NextGen Training must have current NextGen Triathlon Club memberships. Once your membership is verified, a $20 discount will be applied at checkout. You can purchase or renew an annual membership while completing your training registration.

TBD:  Shark Attack at Lake Longhorn:  This is the first of two NextGen hosted open water races for 2024!  This is a USAT sanctioned open water race at Lake Longhorn for youth and adult triathletes, and open water swimmers, from newbies to experienced athletes. Available distances are 0.6 mi, 1.2 mi, and 2.4 mi., and swimmers can swim any combination of the events for one entry fee. Come get some training in for your next Ironman or try out open water swimming for the first time. It’s a clean, calm, and safe swim.

September 7, 2025:  Captain Kid’s Triathlon:  This is Coach Crash's race at Moody Gardens, and the most fun destination triathlon in the Seven Seas! Your Mates and Mini Mates will swim in the lazy river, bike through the resort, run through the tropical gardens, and finish it off with a party in the waterpark for the entire family. Each athlete gets admission to the waterpark, along with free admission for three other family members or buddies. It’s a fun race in a beautiful resort - come for race day or stay at the hotel and make it a family weekend getaway!
