The race will start and end at Bar Anticipation on 16th Avenue in Lake Como, NJ. We will memorialize the ultimate sacrifice of our brothers and sisters and all of the lives lost that day and celebrate their memories!

The 5k race will start and end at Bar Anticipation on 16th Avenue in Lake Como, NJ. We run in remembrance of our brothers and sisters and all those lost on 9/11.
Commemorative NJ FMBA Fallen Heroes 5K Memorial Run Long Sleeve Tee shirts guaranteed to the first 700 registrants. After that, it is while supplies last.
Post-Race Barbecue prepared by our friends at The Bar Anticipation.
The 5k Run is a USATF Sanctioned event and is part of the USATF NJ 2026 Grand Prix Series.

As it has since its inaugural running in 2002, the NJ FMBA Fallen Heroes 5K Memorial Run continues to support First Responders and Veterans.
For the past 23 years the NJ FMBA Fallen Heroes 5K Memorial Run has benefited First Responders, Veterans and associated charities. Some of which include: families of 9/11, Brennan Stands Alone Foundation, families of the Arizona 19 Hotshots and Team Shamrock, in conjunction with Tunnel to Towers.
