Bring A Neighbor Campaign
The No Luck Run mission is to build community, encourage fitness, and shape lives. As we head into the 10th Annual race we are excited to launch the "Bring A Neighbor Campaign." The concept is simple...we want to empower our regular runners/walkers/participants to give a friendly nudge to their neighbors, coworkers, friends that aren't super active, or they think would benefit from connecting to the event scene. We know costs can be an immediate barrier for folks so we are eliminating that component entirely!
After you register for the event you will get an automated email (separate from your registration confirmation) with the unique link to invite folks. Simply forward that link to someone new to the sport or that has had years off. Tell them you would love to train with them, keep each other accountable, and chase a finish line together on March 17, 2024 at the No Luck Irish Run!

Please note we have set aside a set amount of dollars to cover these entries as the "Bring A Neighbor" entrants will still receive all the same swag/expereince as others. We do have an option for individuals who would like to support the sport/cause to chip in and donate. If we are able to open more spots due to the generosity of paying participants we will certainly add entries and let folks know. We are very excited about this campaign and look forward to welcoming lots of new folks helping our communities take strides toward fitness.
Charity
The 2024 10th Annual No Luck Irish Run is excited to support RaceMaker Productions "Bring a Neighbor" Campaign AND "Active Youth" Initiative. We have set aside an initial 50 entries for the "Bring a Neighbor Campaign" and another 50 entries for our "Active Youth" Initiative. These are free entries with all the same benefits as paid entries. Alll registered participants will get an "invite" link to ping your non running/walking friends with.
"Bring a Neighbor" Campaign: "Invite Links" will be sent to registered participants

Through the "Bring a Neighbor" Campaign registered participants have the ability to invite a neighbor/coworker/friend via a unique link to run/walk for free. We hope eliminating the cost barrier helps give the nudge to non active citizens to train & chase a finish line with the invitee! The No Luck Irish Run/Walk will donate at least 50 entries.
"Active Youth" Initiative: Open to all under 18 to run/walk a 5k or the Kids Dash.

Through the "Active Youth" initiative youth are invited to participate in events free of charge. We donate these entries to local running groups, schools, clubs, and individual parents that request them in effort to get kids training and falling in love with being active! To request these entries please reach out on behalf of your club, organization, family, etc. The No Luck Irish Run/Walk will donate at least 50 youth entries.

May I run/walk with a stroller?
You most certainly may! Strollers will be allowed on the 5k Course. Please just make sure to line up according to your pace and be aware of the other racers positions in relation to your stroller. Basically, just be courteous, don't block, or run anyone over and you'll be good!
May I run/walk with my dog?
Here at RMP, we love puppies so much! So it is hard to say no, but no. Per our insurance we cannot have puppies, no matter how cute they are, on the course racing amongst all of our participants. Sorry!
Are there any age requirements for the events?
Kid's Dash participants need to be under 12 years of age. There is no age requirements for the 5k. We will allow parents to make the call on their child's ability. We trust your judgement, after all, it is your kid!
Where should I park?
This event starts/finishes inside the Shops at Perry Crossing Mall. There is parking all around the shops. The best parking will be behind the AMC Movie Theater. This lot is large and allows for the best in and out before and after the race.
Is there a registration deadline to receive shirt/medal?
Race SWAG is ordered 2-4 weeks in advance of the race. We do our best to predict race needs in advance, but its possible that we could run out of shirts and/or medals. To be certain that you will receive a medal and the desired shirt in the desired size, plan to register at least 2 weeks before the race. After we place our shirt order, inventory will be entered into the registration system. As sizes sell out, they will no longer be able to be added to registrations. If you register and are able to select a specific shirt and size, its all yours. If your size is sold out, you may opt to skip the shirt and save $5 off registration by select "opt out of shirt" If medals sell out, we will also let you know during the registration process.
Can I have a friend/family member pick up my packet for me?
Absolutely! Race morning can get crazy if we have long lines at packet pick up, so if a friend is picking up theirs early, go ahead and let them grab yours too!
How can I volunteer?
We LOVE volunteers! We need people on the course to cheer on our runners and make sure they stay on course. We need folks to help hand out medals at the finish line and more. Volunteers will earn RMP race credit and a race shirt. If you would like to volunteer check out the VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
I have registered, but now am unable to make the race. What are my options?
We do have a no refund policy, but we can definitely get you into the virtual race event. If you would like to switch to virtual, please email us by Thursday, March 14th. You may pick up your SWAG at Packet Pick Up or have it shipped for a fee. See our VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION page for more info.
Do you offer discounts to groups/run clubs/corporate teams/etc?
We love supporting our local run/walk clubs and other groups training, moving, and working on their fitness! Email us and tell us a little bit about your group!
Will you have a gear check?
There will be no gear check. The parking lots of the Shops at Perry Crossing are all in close proximity to the Start/Finish Area. Please plan to lock up any items needed after your race in your car.
