NWANA Competition Series 2026 - Nordic Walking Association of North America

The NWANA Competition Series is the competition development hub of the Nordic Walking Association of North America.

This series is being built to support the growth of Nordic Walking as an organized sport across North America through local stages, distance events, official Nordic Walking divisions, open community participation, results, standings, and future championship-style pathways.

NWANA competitions focus on Nordic Walking. Some events may also welcome walkers and runners through open or community participation options, while official NWANA Nordic Walking rankings and championship standings are reserved for Nordic Walking divisions.

The series may include virtual, local, regional, and in-person events as the system develops. Future formats may include 1K, 3K, 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K weekly and monthly stages, city and state series, regional pathways, national series, and annual finals.

This hub is also a place for athletes, clubs, NW Groups, organizers, timing partners, sponsors, employers, municipalities, schools, and community organizations to connect with NWANA's competition pathway.
