EXPO & PACKET PICK UP
2025 INFORMATION
LOCATION: Roland E. Powell Convention Center Room # 201-206
EXPO & PACKET PICK UP HOURS: 3pm - 8pm
The Ocean City Running Festival wants you to enjoy all that the area has to offer and invites you to spend the weekend in OC! We will have a traditional race expo with vendor booths from local, regional and national sponsors and exhibitors. Here you will claim your race bib and your race premium. The Health & Fitness Expo is open to the public and FREE of charge. You don’t have to be participating in the event to browse all the great wares that will be on display. You will find great prices on shoes, apparel, active gear and health care products – items you can use even if you’re not a runner.
LIMITED RACE MORNING PACKET PICK UP IS AVAILABLE from 6am to 7am in the Ocean City Inlet. Runners are strongly encouraged to pick up at the expo if at all possible. Race morning pick up can be a challenge for us, for traffic and for the timing company. That said, we are happy to provide this option for those who truly need it. This is intended for those who are coming in late from out of town or have other extenuating circumstances. Sign-up for this option HERE.
Due to logistical challenges, we are unable to offer a Mail My Packet option for the Ocean City Running Festival.
CHIP TIMING
The event will continue to utilize the best timing technology available. The B-tag technology offers runners a streamlined race experience with timing tags attached to participant bib. This method eliminates the need to scan your chip at the expo or to return the chip following the race, which means no more sitting down to undo your shoe lace just after your run and you no longer have to worry about a charge for a lost chip.
Tips to have your time accurately recorded:
- Race bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Race bib is unaltered and unmodified (do not fold or wrinkle)
- Race bib is pinned in all four corners
- Race bib is not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)
Virtual runners: The virtual race will be self-timed. You will have the opportunity to print a race bib and report your finish time into the official race results.
MEDICAL SUPPORT
Our wonderful medical partner Atlantic General Hospital is there for you, even during your virtual race. Learn more HERE.
Atlantic General Hospital will provide medical support on the course and in the finish line area. The Atlantic General staff will include certified doctors, registered nurses, physician assistants and EMTs and will provide the necessary medical attention to any patient in need. CANCELLATION POLICY
Corrigan Sports wants to provide a safe race environment for all participants. Should there be a time that we feel it is unsafe to start a race or proceed with the race, once it has started, the following policy may be enforced;
If weather or other conditions present a danger to participants, we maintain the right to cancel or modify the race. Public safety officials and medical authorities will be consulted prior to any race cancellation or modification.
The two primary influences on the cancellation decision are heat index and severe weather.
Heat Index: High heat and humidity measured in accordance with the American College of Sports Medicine’s recommendations for participation in endurance events could result in cancellation or alteration of the race. The measurement system is based on the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), which is used to determine heat risk to runners. It is calculated by an equation that includes ambient temperature (20%), relative humidity (70%), and radiant heat (10%). The stratification of risk is as follows for runners in shoes, shorts, and a shirt
Should the race be cancelled or altered after the official start due to a heat emergency, runners are to slow their pace to a walk and proceed to the staging area with caution. Hydration stations will be available along the course, as well as medical personnel. Additional fluids may be available; but it should not be assumed that fluid availability would be limitless, due to logistical constraints.
Severe Weather: Cancellation is strongly advised when severe thunderstorms with the threat of lightning threatens the course and are forecasted to continue throughout the time frame of the event. Alteration of the course or race length may be implemented to ensure a safer race environment.
The above conditions will be recognized as “an act of god”, and will not result in the refunding of race entry fees or future race credits.
Should the municipality, beyond CSE’s control, impact CSE’s ability to conduct the event, the same refund policy will be in effect.
Corrigan Sports asserts that each runner assumes a personal responsibility when entering a running event and accepts the potential risks. Corrigan Sports encourages all runners to take all precautions and cooperate with directives given during the race by event personnel.
Corrigan Sports will not knowingly place the participants in danger and burden the medical support community.
Unfortunately, almost all race related expenses will have been incurred prior to the actual race. Should the race be forced to cancel, the financial impact on the race would not be any different than if the race was held in its entirety. Thus, refunding entry fees would devastate the financial future of the race.

Social Teams
JOIN A SOCIAL TEAM FOR THIS YEARS RACE!
ONCE YOUR GROUP HITS 10 MEMBERS, EVERYONE SAVES $10!
Social Team Benefits
💰 TEAMS OF 10 OR MORE CAN SAVE $10 PER TEAM MEMBER
🎪 TEAMS OF 25 OR MORE GET A TENT AT THE FINISH LINE
🎁 PRIZES FOR THINGS LIKE THE BIGGEST & MOST FESTIVE TEAMS
✨ INCREASE THE FUN BY RUNNING TOGETHER
Having the support of your friends during your training and race is priceless, but we decided to add an extra incentive! Regardless of when your teammates register, the entire group will get save $10. PLUS there’s potential for teams to win extra prizes such as merchandise deals! AND if you team grows to 25 or more participants (before November 1st, 2026), we will set up a tent for you in the celebration village so you can party together post-race!
Like your Grandmother always used to say, THE MORE THE MERRIER! With that in mind, the Ocean City Running Festival is giving you added incentives to build a SOCIAL TEAM and run as a group.

HOW DOES IT WORK
When registering you will have the option to Join a Group/Team. All Members of a SOCIAL TEAM are linked by their team name and password. As your team grows, everyone benefits, even those who register first! The system will automatically refund everyone on the team who has already registered and charge the new team members the new rate. You can receive multiple refunds so as your team grows in size, you will continue to reap the benefits.
- Teams of 10 or more participants in any race and everyone saves $10
Registrants that do not initially register with their group may not be eligible for refunds or discounts. Social Teams are available for participants in the live race, virtual participants will not be eligible to join groups and will not count towards your runner total.
WHY RUN AS A SOCIAL TEAM?
Running with a friend (or a group!) really is so much more fun than running alone. Once the race is over, a team is there to celebrate, and relax after the accomplishments of the day. Plus, they’ll keep people going and motivate them to finish strong if they’re starting to feel sluggish mid-race. Teams get bonus points if they wear matching team t-shirts!
Before the race even starts, a team is a built-in training support system. A dedicated team will spend some time running together before the race starts, getting to know each member’s quirks and pace. An individual can push off or ignore scheduled training runs, but a team won’t let them get away with skipping them! Besides support, team members also make for great accountability partners, and will help members to be completely prepared come race day.
Need help creating or joining your social team?
You can easily create or join your social team during registration! Registrants that do not initially register with their group may not be eligible for refunds or discounts. Social Teams are available for participants in the live race, virtual participants will not be eligible to join groups and will not count towards your runner total. If you already registered, and didn't join or create a team CLICK HERE for instructions!
