The Olympia Mile and Festival

This is a fun 1 mile bike, run, walk down Capitol Way finishing at the festival in Sylvester Park where people will have the opportunity to meet local groups, clubs and teams involved in different sporting activities. There is an option for a "competitive mile race" for runners who want to run fast and receive a time. 

The goal of the event is to highlight all of the wonderful clubs, groups, and teams that Olympia has to offer that encourage physical activity and foster social connection. A portion of Capitol Way will be closed to traffic during the event. 

We are happy to announce that the bike portion of the event is being sponsored by Intercity Transit Walk N Roll.  All participants riding their bikes on the course must wear a helmet and sign the waiver. 
 

The event is free for all, but you must register and sign the waivers to participate in the bike/run/walk. 

There will be food trucks, giveaways, a beer garden at the Bus Stop, music, face painting, great community and fun. 

Clubs participating in the event include Club Oly Road Runners, DTR 360, Oly Trail Runners, Lacey Joggernauts, Olympia Community Sailing, Oly Underwater Hockey, Samba Olywa and more!

Bikes roll at 9:00 am

Competitive Runners start at 9:10 am

Runners at 9:20 am

Walkers at 9:25 am

The road will be closed until 10:30 am. 

Festival in Sylvester Park from 9 am to 12 pm.
